|This Is Who We Are: One Big Family||14779760 Hoyt Sherman|
You have Hoyt Sherman having two fathers. You have him as the Son o Henry R and Phebe DeWitt Sherman. and in the bio you have Henry Fisher Sherman which is the correct one because he died in 1914 and Henry R Sherman died before Hoty Sherman was born. Can you double check this out. I am trying to enter them into my family tree.
Her parents are buried in Rosemond Cemetery, York County, Nebraska.
you're welcome :)

|Nancy Martin||Sarah Witt Marsh Death Date|
I am researching the death date of Sarah Witt Marsh, my GG Grandmother. She was a daughter to Elisha Witt and Diadema Alexander born in 1822 In New Hampshire. She married Nathan S. Marsh sometime around 1850. They are together in the 1855 NYS Census with his son Henry from his first marriage. By 1858 Nathan is dead. 1860 Sarah, Henry & Emma Jane are living next door to Samuel Witt and his family. I cannot find them in 1865. Emma Jane Marsh appears in the 1870 with the Allen Rulison family in Parish and i175 she is listed as "hired" with the Rulison family.
I have a feeling there was little money to bury Sarah and there is probably no marker.
I would like to know when Sarah died and my G Grandmother became an orphan. Then the ? will be how did Emma get to Parish when there were so many Witt and Marsh families in Constantia.
Any support in this research will be greatly appreciated.
Thank you so much for your time. Sincerely, Nancy Martin

Definitely 1818. Thanks.

Moses DeWitt is my great-great grandfather, and until today, I had no idea of his parentage. Thanks to you, I do now!
Even my great-grandmother wrote "unknown" on his death certificate, when parents were mentioned.
It is SO nice to know he had parents, and was not abandoned, as we had supposed. Thank you, again!

Hi, I actually had to find the memorial page, again I know I have taken lots of pictures. I looked at the page, and it appears she is on a Townsend statue. I really don't know if I have any other ones, as I still have alot to enter. There are alot of Townsend's at Riverside, but in different areas. If I have anyone you are related to, I will be happy to transfer. After I get all the memorials entered and pictures done, I may try one more time to go there, I guess I have become a little obsessive with that Cemetery. I don't know if I have anymore DeWitt pictures, I do have someone entered with that name, you can run it on my Find a Grave bio page in the white box. I will keep that name in mind, so if I find any I can let you know.
Your welcome for the picture, glad to help.
