Newsflash - Ancestry.com LLC Acquires Find A Grave, Inc.
I started scrapbooking over 25 years ago.. I decided to do my family history and realized it was very slim, so I started digging and have been hooked on genealogy ever since.
It's the biggest puzzle in the world and ever so often you find a piece that fits your section of the puzzle - perfectly..
I grew up in Bay City, Matagorda, Texas - so I have a special place in my heart for those residents. I simply enjoy genealogy and preserving history.
I make mistakes if you tell me, I will fix them.
If they are family or friend, I will gladly transfer.
My aim is to honor the past.
THE STORY TELLERS by unknown
We are the chosen. My feelings are, in each family, there is one who seems
called to find the ancestors. To put flesh on their bones and make them live
again, to tell the family story and to feel that somehow they know and
approve. To me, doing genealogy is not a cold gathering of facts but,
instead, breathing life into all those who have gone before. We are the
storytellers of the tribe. All tribes have one.
We have been called, as it were, by our genes. Those who have gone before
cry out to us: Tell our story.

|V Davies||Thank you!|
I saw that you had a virtual cem. at one time titled "Collin County". I live in Collin County, if you need anything local, please let me know and I will try to help. :)
Your kindness is appreciated!

It was my pleasure. Always happy to transfer to family.

Not a problem...consider it done.
Would you mind turning Jennifer over to me, this is my niece and we've been busy with her funeral arrangements and family visits. I had not had time to honor Jennifer here just yet.

|Fay Elaine Young Chandler||Audrey Newton Chandler|
Hi: Just wondering if you know where Audrey's husband, Claude Lee Chandler is buried. In my records I show that he died in Tow, Llano, Texas.
I'd like to see Clifford Chandler linked to his father also. I did a F.a.G search for Claude for the state of Texas & found nothing. So, want to add Claude, but don't know the cemetery at present. Thank You: Fay Chandler
|Erick Wagner||Fairmont Cemetery|
The following memorials are associated to the "Fairmont Cemetery" which does not appear to be a real cemetery. The two cemeteries near Fairmont are: Collett and Zion Lutheran.
Andrew J. Crenshaw (118798516)
Stella M. Crenshaw (118798527)
Joseph E. Milburn (118798590)
Mary E. Milburn (118798610)
My great aunt Sudie Noel Compton Newton & husband Robert B. Newton are listed on Find A Grave in Laredo City Cemetery with their daughter , Moselle Newton Warnecke. I think a grandson of theirs is listed in the Roselawn Memorial Park Cem. in Alice, Texas, Bruce B. Newton. Would you know if your Newtons were related to him or Sudie & Robert Newton? Sudie's F.A.G. # is 50245994 and she is linked to her husband and daughter. Bruce B. Newton's is #40765977. Sudie and Robert Newton came to Texas from Caddo Parish, LA. They lived most of their married life in Texas. I was thinking that Robert may have been a cousin of some of your Newtons.

Thanks so much for your prayers. I finally had to return home after 9 weeks in California. I doubt my daughter will ever be able to go back to work.

Hello, I noticed the picture you added to William Harvey Newton's memorial and want to thank you for it. His wife is the first cousin 2 times removed of my husband, Richard Jackson. We are in contact with Harvey's granddaughter, Joyce Newton Fuller. I am curious as to how you are related to him? Thanks, Mary Jackson
|Norris Long||Donald Bates|
Thanks for the offer to transfer, but Donald isn't related unless you call "Great Grandson of the husband of the daughter of my 2nd great grandfather." I'm not big on management, just like to make connections to my data base.
