I am interested in genealogy (Baker & Griffin families from Massachusetts, Outland & Riddick from Virginia/North Carolina). I have resided mostly in Connecticut since 1956. I went to college in Northfield, Vermont and spent 19 months in northern Germany in the US Army. I worked as a programmer/data analyst supporting investment systems in New York and Connecticut.|

Re: The Battle of Quebec was fought in October 1690 between the colonies of New France and Massachusetts Bay. John Stetson was an Ensign in Captain Sylvester's company, and died on Phipp's failed Canada expedition to capture Quebec
I am looking for information to the exact location of this expedition. Quebec is not yet a Province nor is Canada a Country until 1867. I have not seen a map or any record showing it as New France during this timeline. John Stetson is my 8th Gr Grandfather, I would like to find out more.

Charles: Are you related at all to these folks? If yes I sure would like to talk to you.

You created the profile for Amasa Stetson #74024589. Are you related to him or know a little about him?
I posted the grave stone photo that was requested.
When I was there taking the photo's I also took photos of a William B Stetson whose stone is on the same base as Amasa's.
