Bio and Links
Bio Photo I have loved recording my family history for about 40 years and teaching the last 15.

My Children's PATERNAL: Byington, Carr, Molland, Holkins, Gallaway, Norton, Terry, Williams, Hall, Frisbie, Swetland, Butler, Donaldson, Piper, Little, Burdick, Munsee, Moore Also: Kofoed, Bell, Jensen, Munch, Christensen, Booth, Panting, Crook, Madsen, Larsen, Garwood, Davies, Kerby, Lane

My Children's MATERNAL: O'Bryan, Whitworth, Kochendarfer, Schluneger, Mize, Robinson, Hall, Copeland, Rogers, Philips, Baer, King, Pratz, Lebo, Nooner, Reynolds Also: Harper, Gowan, Smith, Putnam, Brock, King, Boniface, Pitcher, Spooner, Griffin, Brassell, Allen, Dolby, Robbins, Murray

Some of the memorials I manage are family, but it never hurts to ask to have a memorial transferred. Please include your relationship to the deceased when you make your request by using the EDIT button on the memorial you wish to have transferred. If you are related in any way it will probably be yours, unless it has been promised to another (or my family), in which case, the closest related person will get it. In my opinion, the Golden Rule trumps the guidelines, and hoarding is just stingy and small. I firmly believe family should be with family. Thanks for understanding.

Mistakes happen, I'm famous for finger errors and welcome any additions or corrections. When asking for a memorial correction, addition, or transfer, PLEASE use "Edit" then "Suggest A Correction" on the memorial you wish to have updated instead of posting message's on this page. Thanks

Any photos I add are from public sites, with no known restrictions on publication. If you find a photo that you claim as your property I will remove it at your request. My objective in adding photos is to honor these people and to aid fellow researchers with their genealogy. See this website for pointers for headstone pointers.

I am very thankful for all the work those who create memorials have done on the behalf of others, like myself, so we may pay respect to our deceased family members, no matter how far.

I would also like to thank all of the wonderful volunteer photographers. You are doing a great service to digitally preserve these cemeteries, helping to preserve the memory of those that have gone before us.

"Thank you" seems such small words, considering the time, effort, and personal sacrifice that goes into making this great site.

Daniel S. Wilson father of Ursual (Wilson) Barnes
Looking for living descendants in the Kalamazoo area of Daniel W. Wilson, father of Ursual Wilson who married Tillotson Barnes. Their daughter was Celestia (Barnes) Parker. The Kalamazoo DAR are trying to get a Revolutionary Soldier marker placed on his grave and may need a living descendant to sign the form.

Calvary Cemetery in Louisville
I saw all of your photo requests at Calvary in Louisville. This is a massive cemetery so finding anyone without the plot location will be impossible. If you call the Catholic Cemeteries office at (502) 451-7710, they can give you the plot information. Send it to me and I'll look for them.

abbreviations
Luckily some cemetery lists explained some abbreviations. I've since seen an alternative, but it essentially means the same thing:
SSW="same stone with" or "shares stone with." And I think in some newer cemeteries where all the markers are flat bronze ones instead of actual stones you might find SMW (or s/m/w).

Catherine Drew in Westview
Hello
I see your request for a photo on findagrave for Westview Cemetery. I am familiar with that cemetery and would be happy to look for you. Would you please call the cemetery office at 404-755-6611 to find out the section and lot numbers for your request? The office is reluctant to give me that information and in fact has threatened to charge me for it. They do however give it easily to relatives. The cemetery is massive and that section/lot information will help me narrow the search.
Thanks
Phil

RE: Martin Luther Dennis
Birdie Etta Jennings was born May 27,1916 and passed on Aug 12 1962 She was 46 at the time. From what I remember being told she was injured in a accident on the teeter totter at school and suffered from a injury to her spine that caused paralysis to her legs. That happened when she was in middle school or high school unsure of time. She was in a wheelchair as long as I knew her. She was one of the sweetest Aunt's that a person could have.
She never married. Someone said she had a boyfriend when she was younger but that he was killed during the war. She lived with her Mother even after they moved to Durant OK near her older sister Marie Duncan and they went to live in a nursing home there as Grandmother could no longer take care of her but would not leave her alone. She always said she would live as long as Birdie was alive. They are both buried side by side At Rose Hill Cemetery in Ardmore OK. Her dad is buried in Pruitt Cemetery outside of Ardmore. I just started looking for info on my dads family so will be adding pictures and things as i find them.

Done!
Okay I finally finished adding the photos I had for your photo requests. I notice you have a couple in Holy Cross (Culver City) that have been open requests for a year! As you can see, Holy Cross had 178 open requests and I think I know why. I went there once because my maternal great-grandparents are buried there. The staff gave me a couple of locations without a problem. But after that, I heard from someone else that one of the volunteers showed up there with a printout of all the open requests and the staff popped a cork and refused to give them locations. Maybe that is why there has not been any requests fulfilled for so long.

My Saturdays this month are taken up already, but I will try to go over there next month with at least your requests and see what happens.

Best regards,
B.J.

Pictures
Feel free to use any of the pictures. I would like to know who they are that you wanted. Just was wondering if we may be related as most of the pictures that I have put on there are my family members. Thanks, RBA
