|Glen Farmer||Williams family|
Good morning Shirley, I have transferred the 4 Williams Family members and the Willison boy as well. These 5 are in the Cornett Branch Cemetery and not Jerd Halcomb cemetery. They are not members of my family so you can keep them, transfer to me if you want to or if the other lady is a find a grave member then maybe transfer to them if they are her family. This is the first time I have transferred any memorials, have a nice day, Glen.
|Glen Farmer||Willison, James Gary|
Hi Nance, James Gary Willison is another one that is shown in both cemeteries but according to the cemetery records he is in the Cornett's Branch cemetery. Can you help with this one?
|Glen Farmer||Williams family,|
Sorry it was 4 memorials.
|Glen Farmer||Williams family|
Hi, the following is what I sent to the lady asking about the Williams family:
All five are shown in the Letcher County cemetery records are in Cornett's Branch Cemetery, Linefork, Letcher County, KY For some reason these are shown on find a grave in Jerd Halcomb Cemetery but obviously they are not in it. I tried to have one removed recently and was refused. I was told I needed both find a grave numbers and the person That sent that request did not answer my message to give me the duplicate number. If you all can get these removed from Jerd Halcomb cemetery I would appreciate it. here is the link to the cemetery records: http://www.rootsweb.ancestry.com/~kyletch/cemetery/records/lin.htm#01
|acybersleuth||RE: Duplicate Williams memorials - update|
Elmer's death certificate is on Ancestry.com, and it says "Kings Creek Cemetery", but his military marker order form, also on Ancestry.com, states "Cornett Cemetery" in 'King's Creek'.
I have not found any death records on the other three.
Hayston and Mary are Elmer's parents. Still not sure how Katie fits in.
I'm sorry to bother you and Glen with the issue again. I just would like to link them to more of their immediate family, and don't want to confuse the issue more by linking them to the wrong set of memorials.
Thanks for your help!
|acybersleuth||Duplicate Williams memorials - update|
Hi, I corresponded with you and also with Glen Farmer in November of last year about four of my Williams family member memorials which are duplicated, one set in the Cornett Branch cemetery and one set in the Jerd Halcomb cemetery.
The family members are Hayston Williams (1886-1972), his wife, Mary (Denson) Williams (1888-1971), their son, Elmer Williams ( 1919-1948), and Katy Williams (1919-1937).
It was my understanding that the two of you decided that the "Cornett Branch" cemetery was the correct one.
There are still memorials for all four in both cemeteries.
Still waiting to know which set of memorials to link to other immediate family members.
Could you please give me an update on the situation?

Thanks. I Have a memorial for a fallen TBI agent I made.No one in the family has an account to take it over and Ive emailed find a grave but never got a responce.
|Carolyn Gutzmer||RE: Holcomb|
Thanks --YOUR great!!
|Carolyn Gutzmer||William 'Willie' Holcomb|
Thanks for giving me the edit ability to fix unknown Holcomb 6yrs old for Glenn John Holcomb family. This entire family for Unknown Holcomb should just be delete. All his info is correct under his name . This just adds more confusion to the John N.C. Holcomb family in my opinion.
I don't think I can delete it.
Thanks so much
|Carolyn Gutzmer||Child with wrong parents|
Hi, It is me again. This child # 112613977 is with the wrong parents. Glenn John and Thelma Rose Holcomb is a different Holcomb family. Have no idea who they are. Just know that this Holcomb child DOES NOT belong to them!
This male Holcomb is the son of John Nelson Cooley Holcomb and Ellen Mae (Sterling) Holcomb, buried in Lot 189.
For some reason Willie (the 6 yr old son) and his cousin Charlie Holcomb (1 year old) are listed 2x in the cemetery records. They are the same children.
This information is completely wrong. Hope to get this family corrected.
Thanks a bunch.
