I DO NOT BELIEVE in the family transfer guidelines. If I have created a memorial to a family member of yours or someone who means something special to you, I am more than happy to transfer.|
Thanks to everyone who has helped me along the way! I hope in small part I have been able to return the kindness.

It will be the past
and we’ll live there together.
Not as it was to live
but as it is remembered.
It will be the past.
We’ll all go back together.
Everyone we ever loved,
and lost, and must remember.
It will be the past.
And it will last forever.

Updated. Thank you
It took me awhile, but I think I have sorted out the correct CW veteran. See the following:
Residence North Fairhaven MA; a 22 year-old Seaman.
Enlisted on 11/13/1861 as a Private.
On 11/30/1861 he mustered into "E" Co. MA 30th Infantry
He died of disease on 1/7/1863 at New Orleans, LA
Buried: Chalmette National Cemetery, Chalmette, LA

Thanks. I have found that error frequently, which gives the burial place as the death place.
And it is often not true at all.
Thanks for the obit, etc. You have been doing a great job. Let me know if I have any of your relatives.

|chuck||Re: James Bloomfield "In-transit Project|
I was looking through your project and came across James Bloomfield at Cypress Hills National Cemetery. I started looking in too it. I found information regarding to his being wounded. As to where he died from those injuries. And that his mother field for his pension. Preliminary inquests to where he is buried at CHNC or elsewhere have turned up nil. I have a couple of places to checkout. I hope this helps you in your quest. Chas

Yes, I would appreciate a copy of his death cert. I remember my grandmother talking about Aunt Cora, Ray's mother.
