|I wrote "An American Genealogy: The Copeland Family of Montgomery County Kansas" AND "An American Genealogy: The Finney Family History and Genealogy." Before 2008, I did not know anything about my grandfather William Quincy Copeland and his family. By 2009, I found out about his 9 brothers and sisters, and then I found all of the living descendants of his family. From them, I gathered information and photos and put them in a wonderful book. I connected with a part of my late father and grandfather, and all of their late relations - joining a wonderful circle of Copeland descendants. While doing so, I also gathered photos of headstones (from family and friends, as well as taking my own), which I want to make available for future generations. When Ralph Copeland passed in 2011, he left 100s of photos many of which have not been seen by anyone in 100 yrs! I have posted many of them to findagrave and ancestry so that their descendants can benefit from them as well! I have heard from many people thanking me for posting these 'lost' images!|

I'm sorry but I don't have any additional information on Patricia Louise Baker. I found her information at the Woodlawn Cemetery web site when I was searching for someone else. You might try poking around in the Woodlawn cemetery to see if you can find any additional information. http://www.woodlandcemetery.org/
Sorry I wasn't of help,

I saw your message to Lanie in regard to Mary C. Allen. She was married to William H. Allen and were my great grandparents. Their daughter Minnie Louella (#53786875) was my grandmother. William and Mary were buried at Lakeside Cemetery, Canon City, CO. We have not been able to find anything about where Minnie is buried. Do you or any of your family have any information that could help?

I read on your profile that you have gathered pictures of headstone for your book. You do understand that you cannot use Find A Grave contributors' photos without each of their permission? They are not like internet clipart.

I'm not sure I am understanding what you are demanding?

Hello, I am so thankful for the photo you posted of Elizabeth Moore Wood and Jabez Wood. My Great Grandfather was Elizabeth's brother. He was Charles Vincent Moore. I have a photo of him if you are interested.
May I ask how you are related? I would love to connect and share if possible.
I would also like to ask if you have any other photos of Moore's or Glosson/Glasson's etc in your wonderful treasure trove of photos.
Additionally, I would also like to say how sorry I am of your recent loss.
Please feel free to reach out and contact me at your earliest convenience. I live in Everett, WA.
Hopefully I will talk with you soon.

Another contact is Campbell Funeral Home in Yates Center -- 620-625-2211. They are owned by Jones Funeral Home in Burlington, KS. I don't have a phone book for Burlington. Burlington may have a monument company (Burlington has a large cemetery I have worked Find A Grave in and there are very nice stones there -- they get them from someplace close, maybe Burlington has a monument company). I would bet Campbell Funeral home could tell you who to contact in Burlington or who Campbell's works through most of the time for the stones in Yates Center Cemetery. I'm sure any of them would go to Neosho Falls as it isn't that far from Burlington or Yates Center.

I really don't know who you could get to clean the headstone. Probably a monument company? The old old headstones are too fragile to clean with a stiff/wire brush. I did not grow up in this area but this cemetery has been flooded numerous times I have been told. There are many stones over there that are like this one.
My husband's relative that is buried over there, the stone was bad and we had the monument company from Iola, KS, work on it. (It was broken off at the ground and worn). Look up Harper, William R in that cemetery to look at the before and after pictures that are posted.)
Williams Monument company in Iola did the work. (ph. 620-365-3741) It is sad when they get into such bad shape. Call them and maybe you could e-mail the monument co. the picture I posted (you would have to download it to your computer, it is o.k. with me) so they could see what needs to be done to Zimri's tombstone.
Thanks for the info....is this your family?...Harv

Hi! It was great talking with you the other day and I connected Myron with his parents as you asked, also transferred him to you, I feel they should be maintained by their family so they can fill in the bios if they like. You're doing a great job and the Copeland's are a great looking family. Hope Melvin is doing better.
