Bio and Links
I have been working on my family tree for about 30 years. There are over 12,000 names in it, with the concentration on the names Bittenbender, Brensinger, Gery (or Geary), Rader (or Roeder)and Reichl. My point of reference centers around Berks and Lehigh counties in Pa., although it branches out, mostly in eastern Pa. I have one missing link...Jacob Bittenbender (born in 1815 and died in 1863) who was married to Sarah Wagner. If you ever find his tombstone or record of death PLEASE PLEASE let me know. I also printed a Bittenbender-Gery volume of my notes and it is available at the Schwenkfelder Library in E. Greenville; I hope to get more updated copies available soon. Always open to new or corrected info. Thanks.

Recently you sent me an addition to this burial. I have taken the liberty of adding the obituary.

Harrison Fegely/Fegley/Fegely
Good question. I've found his name spelled three different ways, so take your pick. I choose Fegely to make it easier for others to find him. His marker is the only place I've seen his name spelled that way, though other Fegeleys use it. It's a derivative of the German Voegele (with an umlaut over the o) that the English speaking legal people couldn't quite get their tongue's around.

He was my husband's great-greatgrandfather.

Jacob Schuler duplicate
Kati: I may have written you earlier (maybe not) but I noticed duplicate entries for Jacob Schuler (9/2/1790-2/23/1862) at Old Zionsville UCC...you left a memorial at #80270844, which I am deleting because it was created more recently; you may want to transfer your flowers to #43548364. Sorry for the inconvenience, but thank you so much for the flowers, Kitty (Added by Kitty Pherson on Apr 17, 2015 4:54 PM)

Dear Kitty, I truly wish you could have given me some kind of notice BEFORE deleting instead of afterwards so I could have retrieved all my research I had posted on my memorial page for my cousin Jacob Schuler. It doesn't bother me in the least to ask other Find A Grave volunteers to cut & paste my research onto their memorial pages for my ancestors and relatives. Most want to help others (it's in the nature of the volunteers-LOL!). If you should ever happen to find any other errors I might have made, I would be MOST GRATEFUL if you would simply notify me. I have no problem correcting my mistakes. I dislike duplicate postings as well. Best Wishes, Kati

Jacob Ortt # 18830646
Hi Thanks for the heads up about Jacob Ortt. Someone else has already place flowers for him and that is good enough for me. If you are a Direct descendant, FIND A Grave may let you be his Memorial Keeper if you ask. Have a great day. Patsy

Kitty,
My memorial for him is at the Union Cemetery in Boyertown. The duplicate is at the Boyertown Union Cemetery, which is defunct and entirely a different cemetery. Please do not merge. I have notified the duplicate manager to delete their memorial.
Thanks for the attention.
Neil

Question regarding the edit you sent me on this person. You list "Barrall" as her middle name while I had it as her maiden name. You also submitted her parents as Sussaman & Lovinnia Schmoyer. I found information from ancestry.com showing Barrall as her maiden name and her father as Charles Barrall (b. 1854). Just want to be sure before I make changes.
