I have researching my Family tree lines for abt 10 years or more it started with the Carmichael side of tree which is my mother's side. I have helped few friends with info on their family lines. I cannot resist looking every day for someone new in the tree it is very addictive. I found this web site when looking at another web site great site I have found several relatives graves. This web site is great. The people are great when you ask for a photo request. I have made new friends. I am still working, I try to do something everyday on searching for relatives. I just started taking photos of my relatives headstones close around me. My Aunt Irma use cemetery hunt, she like to look around in the cemeteries so I guess that's where we get it from. I am putting online the Hoiland Cemetery, Lyon county,. Minnesota I have distant relatives in that cemetery, so I ordered the cemetery records for the whole I am doing this to say Thank you to everybody who has helped with research of my relatives from Minnesota, plus it might help someone else who has been looking for their relatives if you wish a transfer I am glad to do it just ask me. Thank you all the new friends I have made in asking for research help, it is greatly appreicated. God Bless.
I went to the New Lancaster cemetery last week to find one of my Walker ancestors. My family has been hunting his father for years. I didn't find him there yet. I took the list of requests for the cemetery and got a few photos. I only took those by the driveway or big stones that I could see from the car. It was too cold! I did NOT find MARTHA YOHE. I found some others. I have photo for NOBLE J. YOHE near Albert & Stella Yohe. One next to Noble is broken and not easy to read but I think it is WILLIAM C. I can't find any F.A.Grave memorials for them. Do you want these two photos? What should I do with them if you do? I found ALEXANDER YOHE and posted the photo on his F.A.Grave memorial. I will be going back to the same cemetery when it gets warmer this spring. Maybe in late April or in May. I'll look for Martha Yohe if there hasn't been a photo posted by then. I didn't Claim it on the request page because I won't be returning there in the nxt two weeks. Let me know if you want these photos for Noble J. and William C.
RE: GREENWOOD MEM TERRACE You wrote, "could you please transfer 2 memorials to me Gar Eaton 114533989 and his wife Geraldine Eaton 114534080 they are my uncle and aunt on my dad's side of the tree...."
A request for a transfer has to be made by using the Edit tab on the memorial. However, since these memorials are outside of the guidelines for required transfers, it's unlikely that I would agree to make them. (You don't need to manage the memorials to add photographs.)
Nelder is in Tracy City Cem I got a call back first thing this morning. He said Nelder and Maude are there. I asked him for everyone in the plot with their dates of death. He gave me 5 names and I have made pages for all of them. If you want me to transfer any or all of them to you, I will be glad to.
RE: Nelder Peterson in Butterfield Tracy City Cemetery is not the same as Hoiland, so I have a call in to a David Peterson who is the city employee who manages the city cemetery. I'll let you know what he says.
Nelder Peterson in Butterfield Thank you for bringing him to my attention. While the church burial register says he was buried in Butterfield, I have just finished systematically photographing that cemetery and have not found a marker for him or for Maude. I notice the death certificate, at the bottom, says he was buried in Tracy City Cemetery in Lyon County. You might check to see if that is where he actually is. Happy graving to you.
RE: SOUTH LAWN CEM Hello - thanks for writing. I am also related to that branch of the Hall Family and have done extensive research on them. I post most of my research on WeRelate.org, so I am happy to share and save your friend from doing double work - but tell her not to worry, there are still plenty of areas that still need research, so there is always more to be done :)
I think that I have posted links to the WeRelate pages for most of the Halls on their Find A Grave pages, but if I have missed some, please just let me know and I can send it for your friend.
It would be fun to see if we are related. Best Wishes, C.
