Bio Photo Live in Mount Carmel,Pennsylvania. Trying to find other family members of Harold Siebert Miller(father),John Siebert Miller(Gf),William Miller(Ggf)Lafayette Derr(MGgf),Israel Derr(MGGgf),John William Boyer(MGf), Joseph Boyer(MGGf). Also related to the Weikels, Kerstetters and Updegrove(sp?)

As for changing incorrect information, I am happy to do so. I am also willing to transfer any of my memorial, for I am running out of time.

PLEASE feel free to visit my "Lost Little Angels" & "Lost Angels" Virtual Cemeteries anytime and leave them a Token and Note. These children & adults are lost in time because they have no headstone to tell us where they are buried in a cemetery or even on a family plot. My own twin brother and sister, Daniel & Nancy Miller, are a part of this group. So is my Maternal Great Grandmother. Records usually don't help, they simply say yes, they're buried here, but where, we don't exactly know. Just remember, you may be the only other person beside myself to visit a "Lost Little Angel" or "Lost Angel". Some of these lost children may not even have a living ancestor,"PLEASE VISIT THEM". Thank You from the bottom of My Heart.

For those memorials that have the phrase "Date obituary appeared in the paper," the paper I am referring to is one of the following from Mount Carmel, Pennsylvania, United States:

The Weekly Item
The Semi-Weekly Item
The Mount Carmel Item (their daily paper)
The Daily News

The obituary you seek, will be somewhere in one of these Mount Carmel papers, depending on what date they were published. Do not be disappointed if the obituary has very little information written in it, some were very short in content and some only mentioned the name. Reporters constantly spelled names "phonetically", which can change the actual spelling of a persons' name very dramatically, so be very aware of this fact. I tried my very best not to make mistakes but sometimes, I had little information to work with. I may have placed someone in the wrong cemetery, spelled the name incorrectly, connected two family members together who were not husband & wife and things like that. For this, I am truly sorry, I'm only human and humans make mistakes.

UPDATE: September 16th,2015.
It is with a very heavy heart, that I must write the following. For 12 years, I read 104 years of local newspaper so that I could make a personal obituary database. I have also now walked through 14 different cemeteries in the local Mount Carmel, Pennsylvania area and completely photographed every headstone I could find in each cemetery. I have taken over 40,000 photos and used them on my own memorials and placed them on other memorials as well. I have also uploaded thousands of "Lost Little Angels" & "Lost Angels" memorials for those individuals who have no headstone to tell us where they are buried.

In my attempt to help mankind, I began to upload my personal database of over 50,000 names. This is when I ran into a problem, for which I asked Find-a-grave for advice on how to solve it. I have received an answer and I will abide by that decision. In principal, I agree with the advice but I feel they have left mankind down. You see, while using my obituary database as my guide for making a memorial, I hit a snag. Thousands of the obituaries did not include a burial site and there in lies the problem.

I found a solution I thought. There is a link I used that states "Unknown Burial" and it seemed to solve my problem. I began to use it but then it was disabled for "excessive use" and this is when I contacted Find-a-grave. I can no longer us it, which is why I'm writing this to you, my fellow genealogist, to forewarn you of a major problem you will face.

I am running out of time to upload my entire database and I just wanted to tell you this fact. There will probably be over 5000 names of people, mostly from the Mount Carmel area, that will not be posted onto this site because of the lack of a burial site to place them. For this, I am truly sorry. So if you can not find an ancestor, they very well may be one of the thousands I could not upload. I will probably be unable to finish uploading my database as well, before my time to work on it runs out, please forgive me.

So I leave you with this final question, whether it's right or wrong to ask. If you were searching for a family member and could not find them, which of these two scenarios would you choose? Would you want the information about the person posted, even tho they may be buried in the wrong cemetery on the memorial? Or would you want the information not posted at all, so that you never find your relative? Interesting question I believe, tell me what you think.

Michael Monahan #149617037
I have found a grave of a Michael Monahan (1931-1908) in a Leetonia, OH, cemetery. Could this be your Michael or should I enter this gravesite as a new one?

Robert, thank you for the photos.

Yes, it is strange. I have a copy of his burial card and it definitely has CEMETERY OR PLACE OF INTERMENT: NAME: M.O.C. LOCATION: Mt. Carmel.

You had added memorials for George Reamer and Pearl Janet YOUNG and transferred them to me. Thank you again for that.

Pearl & Frank's wife, Helen, were sisters. George was my uncle. Am still trying to determine what their maiden name should be. Pearl's name on her marriage license is OCONNOLLY and on her grave- stone it is OKRONLY.

William H. Faust (1898-1968)
I see you have created the memorials for Walter & Ruth Kramer. William H. Faust is also buried at this site. His name and dates appear on the right side of the Kramer stone. William's parents were William H. Faust (1871-1943), Protestant Cemetery, Nesquehoning and Sarah (Sipple) Faust (1874-1911), Odd Fellows Cemetery, Tamaqua. William never married and lived with his aunt Ruth (Sipple) Kramer. William inherited the homestead. William's brother Robert L. Faust was also raised by Ruth, built a home just down the road on the same property. Robert is the grandfather of Ronald Mausteller of Catawissa.
Thought you might like to include a memorial for William. No wife or children, he would be soon forgotten.
