Being raised in a small town in southeast Kansas family and friends were a very important part of my life. When I was small I loved listening to my parents and grandparents talk of family. I loved meeting older family members and listening to the stories. Even though these people are gone now they are still very much a part of my life, they taught me to nurture and value family, they guided me to become the person I am today.

My parents and grandparents were faithful in visiting cemeteries and remembering and honoring those that have passed. I guess I inherited that love. Therefore, I dedicate my work on Labette County cemeteries and family histories to my parents and grandparents. It is my hope that I can link families together and tell the stories of the pioneers who first came to the area.

NOTE: Any of the pictures that I have entered aren't bound by copyright infringement and can be used in your family trees. OUT OF "RESPECT" FOR THOSE OF US WHO SPEND HOURS AND HOURS AND TRAVEL MANY MILES TO TAKE THESE PICTURES, I WOULD APPRECIATE IT IF YOU WOULD LET ME KNOW BEFORE YOU YOU POST A PICTURE I HAVE TAKEN ON THE INTERNET. ***ALSO: I would appreciate it if you would list your source when posting my photos to Ancestry.com or other on-line sites. If you have a question regarding a picture, please feel free to contact me.

I will also transfer a memorial to you if they are your family (with the exception of my direct family). Should you find an error or have additional information on any of the people I have posted, e-mail me. I am always glad to make additions and corrections so that the information is as accurate as possible. It may take me a few days to make a correction, so be patient!

But most of all, thank you to all of those who have posted information and photos on Find A Grave. This is a great resource tool for all of us.

Rosa A Keen Nettleton
Rosa Keen Nettleton was my great great grandmother. I do not have a picture of her and found one on the memorial you created for her -- however, the size is too small. Would you please email the picture to me?
Thanks

Fairview Cemetery
Fairview Cemetery, called by most Fairview Township Cemetery [two other Fairview Cemeteries in Labette County], is NOT in Montana! It is in Fairview Township!

Example, Samuel Guthrie and his wife are buried in Fairview Township Cemetery IN FAIRVIEW TOWNSHIP, Labette County.

May I use the picture of this individual on FamilySearch? I'm getting ready for a family reunion in July, and this person is my distant cousin's husband.

I tried to send you a private email but it came back to me.

Thank you for all you do for Find a Grave!

Henry Robey Hill
What is the name of the cemetery where Henry Robey Hill was buried. He died 2 feb 1881 in Downs, Osborne County, Kansas.

Evidently at one time someone took a photo of his tombstone and the photo has since been lost. His grandson is attempting to get a copy of that photograph who is Greg Hill at ghillmgv@myfairpoint.net my email address is jk_watts@msn.com and I too would like to know the location of his burial

Anyone else who might read this message, please help if you can.

Respectfully, John H. Watts Jr.
