Bio and Links
Bio Photo My ONLY intention is to create a HISTORICAL RECORDING of those who are "Gone, but not Forgotten" before their tombstones are lost forever and if that helps YOU find your family, super!

My paternal gggrandfathers were Alexander Allen (m. Nancy Adeline Branson) AND William Irvin Brewer.
My maternal gggrandfathers were Albert Lafayette Rogers buried in King Cemetery, Franklin Co, Arkansas and John Henry McGee.

Thanks to Teena Cantrell for helping me find my great-great-great grandparents John Pitcher and Polly Allen. And Thanks to Alvin Derby and Betty Taylor Thompson for helping me find Camp Meeting Cemetery where they are buried! What a treasure you are!!! All information about Camp Meeting Cemetery is by John Albert Burnett in the 1920's.

Thanks so much to Linda Creamer Furr who passed away June 2012 and Linda from Arkansas for all the biographical information on my entries in Franklin County, Arkansas.

Remember me, as you pass by,
As you are so was I.
As I am you soon will be.
Prepare in Life for Eternity.

Oh Yeah, Meet you at the East Gate!!!

RE: Henry Robinson
Otherwise I wondered why you took the picture. In any case, if he is the Henry Robinson related to you and I'm hoping he is I can make some connections.

Thank you.

Henry Robinson
Frances,
Can you tell me who Henry's parents might be. I have a Henry Robinson in my family but he is proving elusive because of name similarities. Any help you could give me would be appreciated.

Thank you very much.

Cleland,many SC and NC Names
Frances I want to personally thank you for helping others through your work with Find A Grave. It means so much to those like me , who because of age and health can no longer even visit the cemeteries. I started my genealogy journey in the 1980's and am still striving hard to get as good a family history as possible on Ancestry and Family Tree Maker, checking it in every way I can to verify that it IS correct so that my descendants and others connected can know their heritage. I hope you won't mind my making copies of your photos for my family files. Most people don't mind, but I like to have permission. I ask that God bless you in your help to others. Thank you so much for your selfless labor.

I don't know a lot about this family, but here is what I found while researching Copeland surname.

Frances Rachel 'Fanny' Copeland born about 1844 in AL, married, 1860 in Mobile County, AL, to John Franklin CHAMPENOIS.
Their son is Thomas Hardy Champion.

His wife's given name was Rhodie, but I do not know her maiden name.

Thomas and Rhodie's known children are:
Jennie/Jinnie was born in Oklahoma. she is living with her parents in 1910 in Pushmataha Co., OK.
Arthur was born in Oklahoma. he lived with his parents in 1910 in Pushmataha County, OK.
Oscar was born in Oklahoma and in 1910 lived in same place as others.

Thomas Hardy/Hardie Champion's WWI draft reg, dated Sep 12, 1918, reads born 13 Apr 1873. They lived in Clayton, Pushmataha Co., OK.

Thomas' parents:
John Franklin Champenois born 1841 AL and died 1900 MS.

Frances, when you are out and about, can you verify if this man has a military footer? There is a rumor that some stones went missing and this name is on the list, and I noticed there is no photo of a military photo. Thank you. Jan
