Bio and Links
Bio Photo This is a great site and I have found many friends, and cousins that I didn't know I had and I cherish each one.
Thank you all for the beautiful tokens on my family & friends sites. I appreciate them all.

I am looking for any Sanders contacts/family from Blount County Alabama or any of the Graves family from Blount County Alabama.

I am also looking for anyone with information On Jay and Louise Ivery (Louise Thompson Ivery)
They have a son Joe who passed away in a car accident and he was married with a baby when he passed away - he has a sister, Pat ? that lived in Georgia.

You may notice from my sponsorship that I have a very warm soft spot for all animals. I believe that our Lord gave each and every dog, cat, ferret
and your choice of pet for us all to take care of and cherish until they take the trip to to Rainbow Bridge. I asked a good friend of mine, a good ole Baptist preacher what happened when a pet passed away, where did they go. He replied "they are all waiting for us, what else would a forgiving Lord do". I cried, just remembering how may pets I have had during my lifetime and how wonderful it will be to hug them and play with them again.(thank you Alan, I needed to hear that) Of course I miss my family that have gone before me, but I know I will be with them soon and knowing all the animals I have loved will be there too just makes it that much more comfortable.

If you have time, please visit my husband,
Vincent D. Dawson,
my Mom, Billie Jo Graves and
my Dad, George W. Graves.

Thank you all for the tokens from everyone they are very much appreciated.
And to the memorials that I leave notes on - I know these things are possible - I have smelled my Mom's parfume 3 times - when I was at my lowest White Shoulders and there was no way that scent can be just blowing in out of the wind. I have only once felt my husband when I was at my very lowest - didn't think I wanted to be here any more and he popped me on my but, lol he knew that made me a bit irate. I never told anyone until my best friend was visiting here from AZ and she was alone in the kitchen - same place I was and when I came back home she was white as a ghost and told me what happened and I laughed and told her I knew who popped her on the tail!! It was Vince.

Thank you,

RE: James A. Thompson
Hi Debra - I am fine. Hope you are also. I just checked the grave. The name is James Henry Stone. His dates are the dates on the THOMPSON memorial. I will change the THOMPSON memorial and update our cemetery records. Come see us.

Debra, Thank you for sponsoring Williams page. He was a friend from
my childhood and a nice guy that left too young.
Thanks again Bob Wenstrom

RE: James A. Thompson
Hi Debra - That was 89 years. Possible? However, there is a problem with the memorial. Our records in the cemetery file does not list a James A. Thompson on that lot, but rather James A. Stone with the dates as shown for James A. Thompson. I will go to the graves to see if there are markers there and get back with you.

RE: Military meanings
WHy don't you call the VA office in his county. They can tell you by his records exactly what his records show AND if you show proof of being a close family member they can actually get you all his medals or ribbons that he earned. I did that for my father and grandfather and framed them all along with his unit patches etc..
This is for his county!

RE: Military meanings
I was wondering why an artillary guy got an Air medal.
I asked another Army guy and THIS is what he said, which makes more sense.

Specialist 4, Charlie Battery, 77th Artillery regiment, 1st calvary division. Served in Vietnam Awards: Bronze Star with oak leaf cluster, army achievement medal, and purple heart.
