I found Find-A-Grave accidentally, but I love the idea, hope that it always stays free to the public.|
If there is something I've posted that you question, or are concerned about; please contact me. I'd like to get the information on the memorial as correct and complete as possible.
I try to use as many sources as possible (that I can get to) to get the information correct; such as Cemetery records, Church Records, Funeral home records, County records, State records, obituaries, & from the families; but I know mistakes can be made. Please let me know.
One problem that comes up a LOT, is duplication; since I work mainly from church records, I have no idea if indeed there are 2 cemeteries; or 1 cemetery with various different names that were used over years; both instances have occurred. But what is the right answer?? I have found 1 person who has two stones in 2 cemetery's in 2 different STATES; but where is the body actually?? Or a different person entirely? I can't tell you because I don't know.
Myself? I am researching for my own inter-related family branches as well; Bahr, Baker, Hays, Keyes, Kussmann, McLaughlin, Meeker, Shaw, Visger, and Walker (up to great-great-grandparents and all their siblings so far).
I found a statement about links that is similar to my own beliefs. Myself? I believe in adding information as found because others might not have that particular detail that will help them. I have requested of Melaney Friesen Shaum to be able to use it and with permission, here it is:

Let's help the next family member or researcher that visits a memorial by adding all the family links that we know. When family members are not linked, it makes the next person do the research all over again. Also, if we have the information, let's use it before it is forgotten.
I also believe that family links make this site easier to use. The easier it is to use, the more it will be used and the better it will get.

I am looking for information regarding a Maxine LaBounty whom you have listed a memorial for. I have conflicting information as to when she was born and died. I have 1926-1926, march 1928-Nov 1928, and yours 1926-Jan 9 1929. can I ask where did you get your information? I am trying to straighten this all our if I can. Thanks for your help

Russell was the son of Avery and rilla Cleveland. Marilyn Margaret was the infant daughter of Marvin and Helen Cleveland.
Harvey Cleveland had two more children who are both buried in walnut grove. They are Avery vaker Cleveland and Sylvia Cleveland Morgan.

Do you know where is there a list of all the older burials in Mount Hope Cemetery, Cloud County KS? I cannot find a phone # or website for that cemetery.

Is there an Esther Rundle or a Lana Rundle buried next to either Irving Rundle 92100033 or John & Mary Ranney 92099856 in Mount Hope Cemetery Cloud Co.? Esther Lana Rundle was the daughter of those Ranneys, and Irving was probably her infant son. She was still living in Kansas in 1910, but had moved to Alabama by 1920 where she died in 1923. Although her funeral was in Decatur AL, her obituary does not mention where her burial was, and the public libraries in Decatur do not list her in any local cemeteries.
So I thought possibly she was buried in Mount Hope, either near her father (who died 6 years earlier) or near Irving Rundle who may be her son.

Thanks so much for the transfer of the above sites. Now to get someone to go out and photograph their graves. Richard

Thank you so much for adding the links and the bio content. I certainly did not intend to duplicate your page, and I am grateful also to SIOregon, whose grave marker photograph determined I had placed Josephine in the wrong cemetery.
|Mary Anne Clark||Florus O Timberlake?|
Also looking for him, father of Katie J Timberlake Clapp, believe he may have also been buried Pleasant View Cemetery, died Apr 1890. Are you able to check the records, he doesn't seem to be listed yet? How does one request a photo when person not listed???
