| Fallen Graver... | | Sadly, this contributor has passed away. Please consider
visiting their Find A Grave memorial page
and leaving some virtual flowers. Their enthusiasm for cemeteries and willingness to help future generations lives on through their contributions to Find A Grave. | | Bio and Links |
I was born in Cumby Texas,in 1930. My Mother was a Dodd. My Father was a Braden. My Mother was born in Tenn. My Father was born in Como, Hopkins County, Texas. I now live in California. We have Four sons, five Grand Children and Thirteen Great Grand Children, two of which were born on my 78th birthday and are identical twin boys, Mathew and Jacob. My wife Marilyn and I celebrated our sixty second Wedding Anniversary on 3/5/2012 with a renewal of our vows. ---------------- 'Bill', my Dad, passed away on May 16, 2012 after a battle with cancer, just 13 days shy of his 82nd birthday. I have made the last few posts for him from his computer so he indirectly made his last entries to his own page posthumously. (He would have gotten a kick out of that) Our family thanks everyone for the fellowship and enjoyment that 'Bill' got from his Find a Grave friends through the last years of his life. Requests for Find A Grave changes etc will be honored. Peace . . . Robert, First son of William Gerald 'Bill' Braden | |

 | RE: Adele Lee Addie Lee Ussery at Northam Cemetery She is listed in the cemetery book as having a metal funeral home sign, usually about size 4 x 6 inches. I don't know yet if a gravestone has been put up for her, but will look.Added by Sandy on Jan 29, 2013 10:21 PM | | | Dianne Holmes Skramstad
 | Bill Braden Bill and Max introduced me to Find A Grave just two years ago. It was a great journey with Bill. He always answered all of my questions and they were many. One of the first things he did was go to Riverside National Cemetery and take a picture of my dad's (L D Holmes) marker and put it on his memorial page. I had not seen it! Thank you Bill for being such a wonderful cousin. | | | Douglas Braden
 | Bill died 16May 2012 We will all miss our fellow researcher ,my Cousin and good friend. Bill was always there to help anyone ,any time. There are nearly enough men like Bill these days.I never met Bill ,but we spent many hours on the phone and on the computer working to sort out our family .Douglas Braden | | | Peggy Holmes
 | RE: Becky Phillips Bill, I married Pete Holmes and he has no living relatives, they were all from Oklahoma. I live in Wolfe City, so Cumby and SS are so close to us. That is fantastic going back that many years in your family tree. | | | Peggy Holmes
 | Becky Philips Bill, I saw you left flowers on her memorial page. Did you know her? She was my grandmother. | | | Anonymous

 | Dodd You posted a photo of Troy L Brewer from Memphis, TN. His mother was Ester Mae Dodd Brewer also buried in the same cemetery (next to each other). Ester Mae was my great-grandmother and Troy was my great uncle (I am one of James Ezra's granddaughters).
Where did you get that photo? it was hard to believe I was really seeing a pic of him.
Please contact me at mrsbear.memphis@gmail.com. I love family history and have very few photos from that side.
Uncle Lowell passed a few years ago. Uncle Clifton and their sister are still doing relatively well as of a few months ago.Added by Donna on Nov 24, 2011 1:06 AM | | | Anonymous
