I am so excited about this website! It is such a thrill to look up an ancestor's name and find their information. Thank you so much to all who contribute. I know it is a labor of love for you as it is for me.|
My sister has for many years tried to get me interested in family history. But she had done so much work on our family tree that there didn't seem to be anything for me to do! When I got married, I started working on my husband's family history. That's when I learned that there is ALWAYS more to be found. :-)
I am researching Sweet, Byerly, Engleking, Hogan, Howell, Whiteman, Emmert, Cline, Hicks, and Catt, to name a few.
If you have questions, comments or any additional information for entries I have made, please contact me.

I keep a data base for the Society of the War of 1812, of 1812 veterans buried in Indiana. I see in the index file on Fold 3 of 1812 veterans that received pensions, they list a John Berry from Scott County Indiana. He was born in 1792 fought for an Ohio Militia and was married to a Patsy Bishop, who probably was married to him at his death. This does not seem to match the only John Bishop buried in Scott county. Are you aware of another one?

Your welcome and thank you for the photos!
|Christopher Ware||James Storm's wife Sarah Ann (#21768627)|
The same thing happened with his wife...the photo of the entire monument is showing the face with their son's info.

Joyce, you posted several headstone photos on James M. Storm's memorial (#21768612). There are two of the close up of the name/dates...can you please delete one of them?
The other one of the entire monument is actually showing the face for his son, Samuel Storm. Can you delete that and replace it with one of the entire monument showing the face with James' info?
I keep running onto photos you have posted and just wanted to tell you that you do a wonderful job.
On some I have a photo also and yours outshine mine.
Thanks for all you do

|David Werts||Jones/McCoy Relationship|
I am researching the ancestry of my great-grandfather, David Jones McCoy, whose parents were Moses and Celona Jones McCoy. I found the graves of your David and Rebecca Jones right next to McCoy family graves, and near to Moses and Celona. I wonder what sources you have for the birthplaces of David and Rebecca Jones? I need to research them further. Thank you!
