|Terri & Stan||RE: Memorial #29487558 in Mingo Cemetery|
Thanks, Kim, sorry to be inundating you with edits! We spent 3 hours photographing everything we could get in Mingo last month - my parents and 2 brothers are buried there. Your ground work has been invaluable in determining some of the more illegible markers.

Hi, Kim, we owe you an apology - or at least, an explanation! Earlier today, we sent you a suggestion regarding this memorial, saying that it was a duplication. As we got farther along, we realized it was a SON of another similar entry, but without dates, we couldn't tell that originally. So we asked you to delete it. Since you probably do your edits in the order received, we were afraid to add our photo and information to a memorial that might be deleted. So we created another one. If you would like to keep your memorial, please feel free to add the information from ours, and let us know - we will then move the photo and delete the one we made.
Hope this makes sense! Thanks!
|Mom_of_3_boys||Richard Dickie Ware|
Hello! Richard is my 5th great grandfather. I was just re-doing some of my family group sheets and noticed the birthdate that you have for him. Do you recall where you got that date? I have that he was born about 1787. I can't find where I got that date. However, in my tree I have his father as James Ware and that he was born in 1756 and died in 1817 or 1818. Maybe that date you have for Richard is actually his father's bd? It would make more sense for him to be born in 1787 since his wife was born about 1785 (although that really doesn't say much for back then when old men married young girls!). If they married in 1804, and he was born in 1787 that makes him about 17 vs. about 48. So I was just wondering what your thoughts were. I see from your profile that you are also related to Wares.

We have a problem. There is a duplicate memorial for David and Amanda. I don't know which burial location is correct. Yours indicates that they are buried in the Sharp Cemetery in Marlinton and the other memorials indicate Sharp Cemetery in Frost. The other memorial numbers are David #80908950 and Amanda #80909065.
I will leave it up to you and the other maintaining person to straighten it out. Good Luck!!!

I just added his grave picture. It is on the second page. Was wondering if you would change the photo order so it's on the first page.

Thank you. I will take good care of memorial.
|Pat Gardner||Charles & Goldie Beverage|
We meet again. I have found the memorials for Charles and Goldie Beverage in the Warm Springs Cemetery in Warm Springs, VA. They are not on my line so will provide the information for you so it can be added, however, if not convenient, let me know and I will take care of it. Their respective memorial numbers are #30188356 and #30188357. They are husband and wife. His middle name is Caleb, born in Monterey, Highland, VA, assume death in Warm Springs as that is where they are buried. His wife's name is Goldie May Bailey. His parents are Edward Clay Beverage and Margaret Alice Lightner, both buried in Mtn. View Cemetery in Marlinton, WV.

I have Susannah last married to James. She was his widow. I do not see her listed as buried in the same cemetery. Do you know where she is buried? She was first married to a Sharp.

Dear Mrs. Kim Friel Drake,
One word which may be two..

It is possible that Edna (Benson) Noel d 1914 and daughter Valentine also d 1914 may be buried with or near John as Edna was married to john's son William Arthur when she died. The evidence I have for Valentine being his grand child is from another contributor's page, but Edna's death being three weeks after Valentine's death age one day makes me think it is correct. I suspect Samuel who died age three on 10 June 1913 is surely related to John if not Edna's son.
