Bio and Links
Bio Photo I reside in New York State. My husband has been helping me with the genealogy of our Families. We started looking for lost relatives of my Mother and Father's family and by accident came across 'Find A Grave'. It is such a wonderful web site. Everyone is so helpful. The 'Find A Gravers' are incredible for creating the Memorials and taking pictures of the final resting places of our relatives and friends. Otherwise, we would not know where some relatives or friends are buried. Just think--soon all the cemeteries will be documented!!!

One thing we learned is there is a lot of information out there on the Web. Finding the information is the easy part. The hard part is researching the information and deciding what is the right family information. This is very time consuming.

Even more amazing I found that my sister-in-law, Scotdeerie, is a volunteer for FAG at Oakwood, St. Joseph's, Holy Trinity and Gate of Heaven (Niagara Falls, NY and Lewiston, NY).

I started a virtual cemetery for our siblings and relatives who live out of town or not in the immediate area as well as others who cannot drive or are unable to travel. This way everyone may visit, pray and remember their loved ones. This will be especially nice during the long winters in New York. No one will have to wait until the summer to visit their loved ones. I also wanted to help preserve our Family's heritage in some way for the younger family members.

When we visit relatives in St. Stanislaus Cemetery, I will take pictures of the grave stones in the area.

I love visiting Find A Grave's online stroll through the cemetery. The peoples stories are amazing--you laugh--you cry. I especially like to read about the older generations. I love their pictures and reading about their life. If you haven't visited the 'online stroll', please do so when you have time. It is very fascinating.

THANK YOU to everyone who has left flowers and tributes at my Memorials. They are greatly appreciated.

THANK YOU to the Volunteers for their pictures and posting Memorials. All their efforts searching through the cemeteries are greatly appreciated.

God Bless.

Jankowski
I am putting up some long-overdue Holy Trinity photos and another Jankowski popped up. I don't know if this is family or not but here's the memorial #140200842.

RE: James Burns - Lakeside Cemetery
Flo

It was my understanding that James is buried in this spot but no headstone was ever placed for him.

How are you related to James?

Thank you for your inquiry.
