He died as a result of a auto accident in
Michigan City, La Porte Co., Indiana.
He was buried in Chesterton, Porter Co.,
The car he was driving (Chevy Corvair)
was pushed into oncoming traffic at the
intersection of U.S. Hwy 20 and South
Woodland Ave. In the car with him were
his wife Betty and youngest daughter
Barbara (they survived the accident).
I knew him and his family personally.
