Inspired by the work done by her great grandfather, Silas Wm. Blizzard (fag #40386458), while writing a history of his family, my mother, Eleanor Clara Blizzard Black (fag#33676318) began her own research. She continued until the early 1980's when arthritis and osteoporosis made the work too difficult for her. I had always found the subject interesting but did nothing with it until after inheriting mother's numerous notes. I began my own search to learn more about my ancestors and those of my wife about ten years ago but did so on a limited basis until more recently. Find A Grave has proved to be a wonderful tool! I've "met" so many people here who have been so helpful to me. As I've visited cemeteries and researched names, I've found many of our relatives. I've also created memorials for many other people I've found along the way in the hope that what I've done may be helpful to others who are searching for their ancestors. If I've entered information incorrectly, I apologize; please let me know and I'll make corrections. If you find ancestors of yours among the memorials I've created and would like for me to transfer them to you, let me know. If neither my wife nor I is related, I'll be happy to make the transfer.|

I have added close-up shots for the stones of John #61411403 and Anna #61411556 Batdorf. I noticed that you had left flowers and might like to know about better photos. I am not connected to the family (Yet) I just like doing this stuff.

Frank and Olive Butler are my maternal great grandparents. Thank you very much for your wonderful efforts.
Thanks so much for the transfers. It is sincerely appreciated.
If that is the case, that would be great!!!!W/o people like u these sites would not be able to function, and you're so right about paying forward, I have been trying, when ya can it's a great feeling!!!!
Thanks so much again!!!
PS. One last question, how did u figure out or deduct that William wa their son also???? Since my GGG-Grandfather would also be one of the sons, as is James who is in Fletchers lake Cem????I have only been doing this a short time, nad only have scratched the surfaace, as you must know, the time and documents to prove who's who is the hardest, but Thankfully the Miami County Historiical society has been a great help, and I have so man y Reder's down there, it's been quite a ride to figure out who belongs to whom!!!!But with due diligence, I will figure it out eventually!!!
Are you from around that area??? I used to live up in Hammond where I was born, but my Grandpa Reder, my mothers father, came from Peru, Indiana, also home of Cole Porter. I was lucky enough to have visited there as well!!!
But moving us to California when I was very young did not help things out when I was going down this road of finding family, especially since my parents have both passed away most around the area as you see are in teh cemeteries, but I will continue until, well until I can't!!!!
Thanks so much!!!
