Bio and Links
Bio Photo I am interested in the genealogy and history of Weed, California. I appreciate the many contributions to Find A Grave, so I am slowly adding data and photos to the Winema and Lincoln Heights Cemeteries in Weed.

Feel free to use any photograph I have taken for use in your family history. Credit is appreciated.

When I place a photo of the Weed Arch on someone's memorial, that means they have some connection to Weed, Siskiyou County, California.

When I place the photo of the Paoli, Oklahoma baseball team on a memorial, that means they are somehow related to the North/Poindexter family.

When I place the photo of the New England couple, the woman with a "classic" New England look and the man with a "classic" Irish look, that means they are related to the Haynes/Doyle family.

When I put the photo of a coyote on a memorial, that means they are related to the Freeman family.

If you have a relative buried at Winema or Lincoln Heights Cemetery, I would love to hear from you. Perhaps we could help each other in our search for people from the past.

re: James B Lynch article
Thank you so much for posting the article about my paternal grandfather's death. Our father just died this spring and his stories about his father's death were recalled from his childhood - evidently not exactly accurate. Can you connect me to any more information about the incident or about his wife? Also, his name was James H (Harry) Lynch.

Please check memorial #160596279 for Laura at Camellia Memorial in Sacramento County. It appears you may have made a duplicate record.
Thank you,

Linda,

Can you tell me your source for the photo of John & Martha Haynes you attached to the grave site links? The photo that comes up on Ancestry.com for Capt. John Haynes (1806-1844 Trenton, Hancock County, Maine) is not the same man. I am trying to verify both photos.

Thanks in advance.

JOHN MAY
Thanks so much for the additional information for John May. It appears he's the same person as the one with marker in Little Rock.
Anyway, your comments are now on his memorial for anyone to challenge if they don't agree.
Thanks again, appreciate your help.

Hello Linda,

Thank you for adding my great grandpa's obituary to his memorial. I have never seen his obituary, so I am very excited to be reading it for the first time! Thank you so much. You really made my day!

Thank you for posting his obituary on his memorial. I saved it to my computer, but even though it is a jpg I can't open it with Photoshop Elements.
