After a niece sent me a copy of my father's "Find A Grave" memorial and asked why my mother was not on it, I became a member. Now I am addicted to it.|
Find A Grave is one of the most beneficial websites that I have become aquainted with both for genealogy and for historical preservation.
I will do my best to find the gravestones that are requested and may have to make a few trips so if the first picture is not of great quality, I will put a comment that I plan to redo it.
So far, I have done 3 complete cemeteries and am in the process of checking off names in case anyone is missing. Then I will do a physical search to see if they are unmarked or covered by grass, bushes or trees.
Any memorials will be gladly transfered. The only ones that I wish to keep are family tree members. I am entering people with the information that is on their stones with the hopes that someone will be searching for them. (I am not doing this just to build up numbers and I sure hope that is not anyone else's purpose.) Any corrections will be made as soon as I get notice of them.
Please do not be offended if I add a photo showing that a stone is in danger of being damaged. It is only a way to help save the stones. I am attempting to gather a group of volunteers to remove unwanted bushes and trees that were planted in a cemetery that are getting out of control because families never maintained them after planting them.
As I said, I am new to this and I appreciate all the helpful advice that others have given me.
Good luck searching for your loved ones and God bless.
* Please be patient, I may still fill your requests after the weather gets nicer.

The memorial # will not come up, is there a different one.

If you'd like to transfer the three Parmenters in the Athol Cemetery to me, that would be fine. They are Mills #115085827, John #115085742 and William #115085997. My # is 47488213.

Thank you so much for adding Mills' grave to this site. He was my great-great grandfather and I had no idea when he died or where he was buried until I found this memorial, and further research seems to confirm he is indeed "my" Mills. So glad to have this info.

For some reason I just received an email today stating you left a message. I do not need to manage his grave unless you don't want to. He is my great-grandma's brother. I happen to be working on this side of the family currently and came across some photos from my grandmother. Thank you again for your help.
Have a good night.

Yes, thank you so much for your help! I'll be adding personal photos to him and his family soon. Have a great night.

Ok. Hoping you can answer another question for me if possible regarding the photos under your entry. The Labrie photos- are those for Dale and his wife? Thank you. Christina

Hi Blanch, I am new to this, and just received a request for pictures in the above cemetery--I see you have fully recorded several cemeteries in the area--was the Ashton request covered by your work? Obviously it's an easy drive, which I could make within the next few weeks, but if you've already handled it, I don't want to re-double your efforts! Please advise! Thanks,
