Please make the following correction...

Hilda died in Champaign Illinois not Champagne

In the body of the article, it states her husband died in 1985 when he died in 1965.

Thanks so much!

Walter Caise
Concerning the memorial for Walter Caise in St. Mary's Cemetery, Beaverville, Illinois.
Walter John Caise was born 2 March 1899 in L'Erable, the son of George Caise And Delia Clara Delhaute. I have his birth record from St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in L'Erable. This George was born in 1867 in Martinton and was married [according to L'Erable records]4 Oct 1898 to Delia Clara Delhaute. This George is not to be confused with George Caise who was born 1 Sep 1856 and married to Alice Saindon.

Don't transfer either to me; just leave it as it is. It all appears quite accurate. If Donna or some of her immediate family wants it deleted, they can make that request. I'm sure this is not the only memorial for a living person. Just that I had not seen this done before and was a little surprised. Keep up the good work.

I can see that you've done considerably more work than I have at creating memorials, and it would be a huge time consuming endeavor which could easily lead to getting too much to handle. I just try to limit myself to family and friends. But it's great that someone will take on the task of listing those departed without family. Donna is in fact, alive and well. Today is her birthday. She is my first cousin but she also has living children so I would not want to take the responsibility of maintaining her "memorial". I would be hesitant to include anyone whose death date is not given on a marker. Wishing you well.

I think it's great that you've done all this work for Find A Grave, but I think it's inappropriate to create a memorial for someone who is still alive.
