Bio and Links
Bio Photo I am originally from Hartsville, Darlington, Florence area of South Carolina. I am related to the Watkins, Williams, Browns, Kelleys , Kellys, McDonalds, and many many more. This is a great site for building family history to pass on to our children and grand children. God Bless and have a glorious day!

Revelation 21:4
King James Version (KJV)

And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.

P.S. Please take a moment to visit the memorial for Morgan Thompson . We went to High School together. Morgan was an orphan and had been living in the Boy's Home for a number of years. He had been talking for a couple of years about joining the Army as soon as he was old enough so he could get out of the Boy's Home. He joined the Army and came by school to show us his uniform. He had a smile from ear to ear! I will never forget how proud he looked in his dress uniform. He had just completed basic training and was on his way to Vietnam. A few short months later we got word that Morgan had been killed in combat. God bless you Morgan. You made the ultimate sacrifice for our country. Freedom is not free. Through the sacrifices of many thousands of men and women like Morgan we have freedom. He was only 18! Cherish this freedom and never let it be taken away.

Your Welcome Johnny
I give honor and respect to Morgan. I remember Darlington, SC. Special memory. When I was stationed at CL,NC my buddy had a cousin who lived at Darlington. We went there and went to a local bar. I had never felt so American. The folks in that civilian bar could tell me and my friend were Marines. A man walked up to me and aid, "Here is a full Michalob for you and thank you." That beer was a premium beer. I didn't know the guy, he was a civilian, but he was American, and I will never forget him. Thank you for lighting up the feeling of Morgan in me!

You're welcome. My Father was in Vietnam during the worst year of the War (1968-69) & when he came home, he almost went to jail for splattering a hippie in front of us that called him a baby-killer and tried spitting on him. I never forgot that. If God spared you from the draft, you already passed the test by having the courage to serve, and He wanted you here for something else. You are the caliber of American that I'm proud to have fought for, and I am also not happy with the direction in which the USA is headed.

RE: Carroll Fordham
I had a request asking for more information on Carroll Fordham and how to tell which one was that
he had as being married to Nancy Moore Fordham, was the wrong one I told him to check their birth dates, states they lived & died in and their S.S. #.
He then requested Carroll's SS #. and that it would help others if the SS # were with or on memorials.
It is up to you if you use or add them to any memorials.
Example: In the late 1970's I was in a VA Hospital and at the end of the week there were five of us in the hospital with the same first, middle & last name. I have found 38 with the same name and three of us were born on the same day, month & year. 2 more with the same day and month. 8 with the same day or month.
Not in all cases but in a few cases the SS # will help to find the correct person. As you know or will find out, there are a lot of dead and living with the same name
I am only one of the thousands of the descendants of Ephrain & Hannah Fordham from the early 1600's England.
Does this answere your quistion?.
