I have often been told that I am a rather odd sort for enjoying spending time at cemeteries. I enjoy doing this because I am interested in preserving our past and I believe cemeteries are definitely a starting place.
At this time, I would also like to express that my involvement with Find A Grave is NEVER to upset anyone. It is purely to be able to provide a place for us to honor those we love and provide information for those who are trying to find their family, friends and loved ones. If I have entered someone you wish not be part of Find A Grave, I will gladly remove them as soon as I get a chance.
I do manage a number of memorials on this website and I have no problem transferring those individuals to family or friends who will do a better job providing the loving care they deserve. I look at Find A Graves "guidelines" as suggestions, not the all end of all rules and the world is going to end if we do not follow them.
On that note, I would also like to let everyone know that I work a full-time job and Find A Gave is a hobby for me. I am trying to do my best to keep up with all of the emails and information sent to me. Unfortunatly, I am not doing a very good job. If you have sent a request or information to me in the past and I have not responded to you, I kindly ask you send the request to me again.
I hope I have not offended anyone and everyone realizes I enjoy participating in this forum to honor our families, friends, and our past. | |

I think what you do is wonderful and I appreciate you adding my grandmother's information. I just added a picture and will add the front of the stone tomorrow. The date you have for her birth is different than the date on the stone. Her children had the stone made and set in the nineties. I am sending you the correct or dates they used so you might change the date. She was born 30 Oct 1903 and died 08 Jan 1933 at the age of thirty. Thank you very much.
