Well, my dad thought I was even more gorgeous than what I think :) Of course, that's coming from someone who is vane. I will admit it. When I was born, I had red hair like my mother and my dad was so glad of that. But it turned really really blonde before I was 6 mo old. Verna Jean once told me, about my hair, "I hope you don't have to do to your hair what I have to do to mine... to get mine to look like yours." Well.... guess what, I have to do that now. Teenagers give a person gray hair. The thing about Bill Capps I remember is that he had a great sense of humor. And to me, my grandpa Lewis Capps didn't seem to have the same sense of humor. But Bill, he sure did like to fish, that's for sure!

From Highway 44, turn off on the highway 59 exit that will take you toward Diamond Missouri. Go South until you reach Diamond, which is about 7 miles.
At Diamond, turn left (east) on J Highway. That will take you toward Wentworth and the turn off for Granby. (At some point, it may say you are on E highway)
Keep going east on J/E Highway until you come to Raccoon Road. Turn left (north). Turn right on Birch road. the name of the Cemetery is Powers Cemetery and is in the community of Pepsin. Bill & Minnie are buried toward the right side of the cemetery, near the storage building. This link: http://www.findagrave.com/cgi-bin/fg.cgi?page=cr&GSln=capps&GSmid=46927696&GRid=26174014&CRid=30966& shows a map where that cemetery is.

How's everything going in your part of the world? Sometimes I wish that time didn't move on. And we didn't get older. It's been 7 years since my dad died. It doesn't seem like he should be gone.
