Bio and Links
Bio Photo I have been researching the families of my wife and mine for about thirty years. It is great to learn about family and their migrations.
If anyone finds mistakes on my entries or would like to add information, please contact me. I have been going to cemeteries in my area and have been entering photos and info so many of my entries aren't family. It is always great to meet new family and friends.

Genealogy Research
My family
Barton/Lambert/Goforth/Schooley/White/Miller/ Dunn/Massie/Eggers research is in IL, IA, IN, KY, ENG, MA, DE.

My wife's family
Gibson/McCandless/Turner/Dunn/Ramsey/Brammer/McCully/Wilson genealogy research is in MO, TN, PA, IN.

My wife and I have four children and nine grandchildren which makes our life very enjoyable and now we are blessed with seven great grandchildren. Besides searching for our family, I enjoy wood carving.
The Good Lord has blessed me in many ways!

Remember, "No one is truly gone, until they are forgotten".

-------------------------------------------
With the memorials I have set up, if you find any mistakes, please let me know so I can get them corrected. I'm not perfect, but I strive for perfection in all that I try to do on Find A Grave.

--------------------------------------------
When requesting links, please give me the name of the person plus the ID number. This insures I link the correct person, mother, father or spouse.

On ADDITIONS, CORRECTIONS, LINKS or TRANSFERS for any Memorial, PLEASE USE THE EDIT BUTTON and Suggest A Correction or provide additional information. Any of the above posted on my message board will be ignored and deleted.

IN OTHER WORDS, SEND A SAC! Please, no bulk transfer requests!

I will be happy to transfer to a relative if it is within the Find A Grave guidelines, otherwise it will be at my discretion. Please state your relationship of the memorial you want transferred. Just saying they are family is not acceptable.

We want the memorials of those we loved to be as nice as possible.

Thank you!

RE: James Reed Dunn
You didn't finish your question "Do you know where Matthew Henry Dunn and his wife May Jane Felmlee?"

RE: James Reed Dunn
Leon- I'm a grand nephew of Katie. She was my paternal grandfather's sister.

Reed's parents (he went by his middle name) were Matthew Henry Dunn and Mary Jane Felmlee. Both were born in Pennsylvania.

Happy hunting,
Larry Bull

Bonjour,

Leon:
Okay,I went home and checked my information. Here's the acutal notation:
According to the Gibson family history (by Edna Gibson) she says Lonnie was born Apr. 01, 1911 at 11 p.m. and only lived a few hours, until 4 a.m. Donnie Gibson was "born dead" at 8 a.m. Apr. 02, 1911. Twins were buried in the same casket. There is also a photocopy of a bible page that lists the children and the last one just says "babies". I do wonder if the doctor heard wrong or just wrote it wrong. Edna Perkins was married to Hiram Luther Gibson (son of Hiram Wilson Gibson and Sarah Ella Mae Shanks). Also Hiram W. Gibson's obituary lists twins as pre-deceasing him.

RE: Johnie Gibson
This is so strange. The people who wrote the history I have were very clear there were twins, but a death certificate doesn't lie. Thanks for your help! I received an inquiry about this last month, so will forward what you have and connect it to my Ancestry.com account.

RE: Garvin Family
Thank you for the quick reply. I did request photo's some time ago. For my John Garvin (1794-1884)I have information that his father was Thomas Garvin married to Betsy Dunn, but I have not researched that line yet. I am hoping someone will be able to take pictures. We may go through that area this summer.
Thank you again.
