Hello. Although I live in Las Vegas, my personal lineage revolves around Surry County, NC; Carroll County, Virginia and Patrick County, Virginia. I am interested in the Eason, McMillian, McMillan, Bowman, Culler, Niten, Greenwood, Brown and Smith family names. |
It isn't about the number of memorials I have but about the number of people I can help. I do not believe in holding onto memorials when the people do not belong in my family. If you would like someone transferred by all means let me know. However, I will not transfer a non-relative just because you want to enter a sentence about them. Family members only thanks.

RE: Naomi Gertrude Beamer McGee
As always, I appreciate so much your continuing help in gathering together "my" Beamer family members.
You have done so much to help me and I want you to know how very much it is appreciated.

I follow your work, daily, and assure you that every picture I attach, I give you proper credit and with this credit always thank you for sharing your work with us. Terribly frustrating, for me to have access to the tombstone picture for Bessie Deane Tucker Tilley on your Find a Grave -- however, as usual, William Johnson has her husband, my Favorite Uncle Arthur Edgar Tilley, and father to our dearest Ruth Virginia Tilley Patterson, who recently passed this year. I cannot use the picture for Arthur Edgar Tilley because WILLIAM JOHNSON HAS HIS CENSUS TATOO COPYRIGHT ALL over the picture. I just attended my 2nd GGF William C Billy Patterson reuion ---- went to Oakdale Cemetery to take the picture myself --- found thought I had plot; section; lot #, very difficult cemetery to locate anyone. I needed a map! Consequently, if you have the picture, can you transfer it to you so that we can have access to it. Feeling when I can place a tombstone picture to my family, I have completed and correctly completed my family to the very best of my ability. I live in Goochland, VA; however, if you are unable to add this for us, I will take the picture, for sure, next year. Do not understand why William Johnson does this?????

Hi Lynn ~
Thank you for transferring the maintenance of Joseph Patterson # 30333934 and his parents, James Robert Patterson, Sr # 30333932 & Lucy Margaret Hatcher Patterson # 30333936 to me.

Just a quick request for a correction for James B. Jacobs who should be James P. Jacobs with the P being Phelon. He was my great uncle, son of Thomas Leondas Jacobs (who was known by several nicknames but usually T.L. or Lon) and Mary Ann Burnett of Hardeman county TN. Phelon was probably born or spent his early years around Rogers Springs which was called Hollywood at the time then later closer to Saulsbury in Hardeman co. He was working at Rose's in Memphis TN as a clerk according to his 1918 WWI draft card (wholesale/drygoods) and continued to do so later in Mt. Airy, NC. His delayed birth certificate states he was born in Bolivar, Hardeman county, TN.
Think this might be the same company: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Roses_(store)
I have photos, hope you don't mind if I add them to the memorial.
