I was glad to see your flowers on the MULLINS family members that I have been linking. You may wish to go back to the COTTON memorials and work your way through the family tree from that starting point. Allen Cotton's memorial is #124095661. Mary Crosslin Cotton's memorial is #19058294. Mary's grave is in Providence Cemetery (formerly known as Mullins Graveyard)in Choctaw County, Mississippi.

Howard W Weatherton
I saw your entry for Howard W Weatherton in which you say his mothers maiden name is Ferryman. All the records I have come across says it is Perrymore. Including this death record.

Thanks for you input.

I am trying to get information on a family born in De Berry, TX, many spellings, but Nina Shadions, or Shadowens.
She was my brother in law's grandmother.
But very little info out there, and he knew nothing of any of his family, so trying to help him out.
Thanks and you can email me at with any info you might have.
Thanks again,
Jean in NM

John Daniel Phillips

Hi my name is John D Phillips (Danny). I have gottin interested in my Family History.
I came accross The Lethia McWhorter name and found that she was married to a grandson of Cornelus Phillips. He is my GGGgrandfather. My grandfather is Benjamen Phillips, his son Eric Isiah Phillips, all name that have been handed down by out parents, both sides. I have a aunt,
Lethia Carver, Ross.
As a young child I sat on the front porches of old houses in Gifford, Sulfur Srings Road, Big Creek and heard my grand parents and grandparents speck of there old familys members.
I didn't know that they were family at the time because they were gone on. The Baileys, Hendrixes, Stewart, Phillips, Riggins, Buies, Carvers, Sammons', Cunninghams, & Riggins must of all been frend in this area sence they left Virginia & the Carolina,s
I have found so many names on headstones and it has left me thirsty for more.

Anyway here is what I'm looking at tonite, A McWhorter married a Jenkins and they ran a ferry on the Saline River north of now Leola Ar. three of there daughters married Carver brothers Robert H & John M. Robert and his childern movered to Gifford. John W phillips was there at the time. 2 gens later on both sides My daddy Eric and mother Janet Carver wed. And the all the Gave markers in between fill in the blanks.
Can you share your family history with me.
I have a feeling we have some conection. My daddy would visit often with a Clarence Riggin when i was a kid.
I meet Bookie Riggins down at Leola, this summer. He new Mr Riggins. my email is
