Bio and Links
Bio Photo We started researching our family trees in 1999. It started very innocently....and then quickly became an obsession!! We love doing the research and the cemetery walking! We have traveled over alot of Michigan and Ohio to do our family research...and other states to come as we can afford it! (Researching MROCK, MROCH, MADER, MAEDER, WEIDBUSH, WEIDBUSCH, MIELKE, KNACK, TESCHKE, MCCLOY, GRONAN, THOMPSON, SMITH, MCMILLAN, KROTZER, DERMICH, HORNUNG, KNACHEL, TRESSEL, MOLITOR, MOLEDOR, KLINE, JENIOR, KNAPP, KLEIN, JOHNSON, GABRIEL, GABLE, GABEL......)We also enjoy taking pictures for others.....it's a great feeling! It's exciting to get a message saying someone has fulfilled your request for a headstone picture.....but it's also just as exciting to fulfill that request for someone else!! One thing we have to ask fellow researcher.....PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE remember to only use headstone friendly materials to do rubbings! There are certain stones that should never have anything rubbed on them...because it may never come off or it may ruin the stone further. Please research headstone rubbings before you just go out and rub chalk on any stone! We have found that making mud out of dirt and water is the best....it's natural and it washes off! Corn starch is also a good material to use! Oh....and ALWAYS remember to wash the stone off....leave it as you found it!

If you would like any information added to one of our memorials please contact us and we'll be happy to add it!! This is all about preserving history!! Happy Researching!!

Yeah... I am not related either... just transcribed the death certificate. I noticed how different the birth date was as well... found it interesting. Hard to tell which, if either is correct.

A cousin!
Hi Dee and Mark- I am applying for SAR membership for my son and found your site on Find a Grave. I am a descendent of Sam Tressel ( my grandmother was a Tressel). I just wanted to say hello!
