...........................A headstone photo for every headstone
Everyone - Please use your "request a headstone photo" button to request a headstone photo of every person related to you. (Check to see if someone already requested a Findagrave photo before clicking request a photo). Also when you create a new memorial....click request a headstone photo or if you just run across a memorial with no headstone photo...press the request headstone button.

WARNING about trend of replacing written obituary with only a video obituary. Written obituaries stay around for hundreds of years and into the future. They are in libraries, dozens of newspaper websites etc. Videos are on ONE funeral home website who makes money selling them and when that funeral home goes out of business or that funeral home business is purchased by another company......the website is deleted along with the videos. At least written obits posted only on funeral home website pages (not in hard copy newspaper) get copied to other websites so there are always copies if that funeral home website goes out of business or new owner changes name/deletes previous website along with obits. Videos are fine but always do a written obit also if you want a loved ones information to go forward into the future.

Pet Peeve: Obituaries which list step children as the children of someone who died. Worse, both bio and step mother list the same children as their children - ridiculous.
