Bio Photo I transcribe and photograph cemeteries/grave sites because I know there is someone out there who can't make the trip or who doesn't really know where their loved ones resting place may be. My Motto: By Preserving Our Past, We Prepare For The Future!jhh That one transcription or photo CAN make a difference!

This pix is of my baby girl (Toni Stewart), she is named after Tony Stewart of NASCAR.

Rosa Anna McAleer
Nevermind that email I sent you about checking the source for her death date. I found it.

I think the explanation is that John McAleer's second wife was also named Rosa. They were married in the same year his first Rosa died - the one buried in the Catholic Cemetery.

Thanks and sorry to bother you.

Do you have 2 Bridget Monahans in your references? I have found two but I either put the wrong dates in for Bridget A. Monahan or there are two with the almost exact dates of birth and death. They are in different parts of the cemetery but since Bridget A doesn't have dates on her marker, I am sure that I have added incorrect info there....

Nurrah Owens
Owenses, pt. 2
Thank you kindly for entrusting me with my husband's family.

I have not yet run across the remaining Owens in that cemetery in my research of that line yet, I will put in formal request when I do.

Thank you, N.

RE: Joshua Brannen
Grandmother is spelled Leetie instead of Lettie.

Lanice instead of Lannie.

All of the children are deceased. Lanice is buried in Brunswick. I do not remember the cemetery. The other 3 are buried in Pinecrest in Jesup.

RE: Alonzo Brannen
Thank you for the welcome, and also the corrections to my grand parents links. Could you tell me why Joshua Velmer shows as a half sibling?

Thanks again.

JoAnn, we all do. I had so many when I first started that now when I check I only use first and last name and year. Take Care.

Hi JoAnn,
Any of the Owens Family that I sponsor or leave flowers for are related to my husband, Bryan.

If you are not Owens family I would happily take them over, (I manage his family and ancestors for him), if you are inclined to transfer.

Thanks JoAnn. Did you now Walt? He was a great guy. I was at his burial with his mother and went to his funeral the day before. It was a sad event. He was so young.

It is good to have someone checking...I want to make this site as correct as possible and it helps to have everyone help and cooperate in the process. It is so hot, that is hard to stay out there long enogh to get a lot of the areas of the cemetery photographed but I do a few here and there. Hopefully we can get it finished soon. I have to wait for my husband to go with me some of the time and he is still working at age 70!. We were there Monday and a cab driver was parked in one of the far corners of the cemetery. We looked over at him and were wondering if he was okay because it is odd to see a cab at the cemetery. He saw us and zoomed around the cemetery and blocked us in with his car. He started yelling at my husband and saying that the woman that owns the cemetery said he could come in there. I don't know what woman he was talking about but I told my husband not to talk to him. people are so crazy these days..I can see the headlines now.."U.S. Marshal and wife Killed in Cemetery Shoot Out" LOL..... I was there one day and I was leaning over taking a photo and I felt something at my ankle...I looked and it was a pit bull wearing a pink tutu!. You never know what is going to happen at the cemetery! C
