I am the caretaker of Phillips Cemetery NW of Cave Springs, Arkansas. The land for this cemetery was donated by my great great grandfather. There has always been a member of the Phillips family taking care of this cemetery. I have been working on genealogy for 15 or more years and it is in my blood. I love doing the research whether it is my family or someone else's.I am trying to make a connection of the people buried in the Phillips cemetery to their relatives. Anyone having any information, please feel free to contact me.

RE: Jessie Hart @ Pacific Crest
Jessie has been transferred!
You probably know, his death certificate has the same spelling. You know in genealogy anything goes with spelln, I mean spelling! :)

We'll get his headstone images up soon.

Marlene:
Keep me in mine when you go to Quay Co., New Mexico and take tombstone pictures of Lola Pitts Sands and her sister Minnie Pitts Hedgecock. Their father Richard Pitts was ancestor of my father-in-law Otis Linzy Webb and husband Jake Dale Webb. Richard H. Pitts had two wives: 1/w Sarah Catherine ? died at child birth.
They had daughter Sarah Catherine Pitts m. William C. Webb our line. William C. Webb was Lawyer and Civil War Union Veteran from Missouri.
His brother's fought for the Confederacy. This must have put a strain in relations in the family.
Your line from 2/wife Rachel Stever if I remember
correctly. The Stever's moved to California-Linsay-Exeter area of Tulare Co., CA. Distant
cousin of my husband was Loretta Miller Stever married to Loren Stever of Lindsay and
Exeter who was probably 2nd or 3rd cousin of my
husband. We always liked Loren and Loretta Stever.
