With the exception of my family memorials, I will be happy to transfer memorials upon request.

Memorials added by this volunteer to Westmont Cemetery, also known as Potter's Field, Dayton, Montgomery County, Ohio, are for the time period November, 1944 through December 5, 1991 only. Interments took place after 1991. Land for this cemetery was surveyed in October, 1944 for interments of the indigent and the unclaimed. It is now an inactive cemetery. It is open to the public one day each year-Memorial Day. Because graves are unmarked, city employees are present that day to assist the visiting public in locating final resting places of loved ones.

Many thanks to volunteer John Fogarty, Jr. for photographing many of the headstones in Fogartyville Cemetery.

My final visit to Fogartyville Cemetery was March 19, 2013.

My thanks again to John Fogarty, Jr. and to others for proofing my data input and for providing additional information.

As a common courtesy to all Find A Grave members: Please check before you add a memorial to make certain another individual hasn't already added it. If there is already a memorial for the deceased, request a transfer of that memorial to yourself so you can 'manage' it. (Or own it, if you prefer to think of it that way.)

For those of you adding memorials to Fogartyville Cemetery, Manatee County, Florida, as a result of finding an obituary that states the deceased was interred in Adams Fogartyville Cemetery (no such modern day named cemetery), the memorial should instead be added to Adams Rogers Cemetery. Fogartyville Cemetery is a private cemetery and Adams Rogers Cemetery is administered by the county. Landwise, they are adjacent to each other, separated by a chainlink fence. Westside Funeral Home is one of the primary funeral homes that in the past listed Adams Fogartyville Cemetery as a final resting place. In 2012 I noticed Westside Funeral Home for the most part stopped referencing Adams Fogartyville Cemetery in their newspaper obituaries.

Please!! For any memorial transfers you request of me, you must use the 'Edit' tab on the memorial in question. You may make your transfer request or include corrections/suggestions. It's helpful if you provide your Find A Grave member number so I can make the transfer to you. I disregard personal e-mail requests. Thank you!

RE: Mona (Johnson) Borders & Philip Borders
Hi Sweetie!

I feel good knowing Aunt Mona, Uncle Phil and Uncle Earl are in good hands with another family member.

Thank you so much for taking the time to respond to me.

I have a lot of group pics of the Johnson and Borders family.

Hugs to you and yours,
Rebecca

RE: Mona (Johnson) Borders & Philip Borders
Was Aunt Mona and Uncle Phil related to you? Could you be related to me, maybe? That would be nice....

I have a ton of family pics, including them both.

Thank you for all of your hard work, on your research and management of the memorials. I was wondering about #57403615 Carl W. Farish. All my research points to Carl W. Farish - actually being Earl W. Farish - born 5 Feb 1914 and died 24 Sept. 1986 in Dayton, Montgomery, Ohio. He was married and later divorced Ada Elizabeth Martin. They had one son Philip Martin Farish.
Is it possible that Carl is indeed Earl?
Thank you so much again.
