A Texan's family tree is like a beautiful rose with many fragrant petals, but with any rose, you have thorny branches that needs pruning on occasion....the same goes with families.

Beatitudes of the Family Genealogists:

Blessed are the great grandmothers, who hoarded newspaper clippings and old letters, For they tell the story of their time. Blessed are all the grandfathers who filed every legal document, For this provides proof. Blessed are the grandmothers who preserved family Bibles and diaries, For this our heritage. Blessed are fathers who elect officials that answer letters of inquiry, For some, this is their only link to the past. Blessed are mothers who relate family traditions and legends to the family, For one of her children will surely remember. Blessed are the relatives who fill in family sheets with extra data, For them who owe the family history. Blessed is any family whose members strive for the preservation of records, For theirs is a labour of love. Blessed are the children who will never say, "Grandma, you have told that old story twice today."written by Unknown;

RE: James B. Robinson (40457243)
Hello, Again, Nancy!

I was excited to get the information to go and view your tree - but, I'm having a problem finding it.

I did a search on Tribalpages for Mary Catherine Robinson AND Mary Catherine Taylor...but, I'm still not seeing which tree to view.

Is there a name I can search on that will bring it up, more easily?

Please let me know.

I had thought I'd email you from work to "talk" more....but, things have been just NUTS with the holidays...I'm sorry I hadn't written, as yet - but, you can bet I WILL! :)

Let me know on the tree, if you can...and, I'll try to email to "chat", soon...

Most Sincerely Yours,
j*

"On December 2, 1944, pilot John B. Dickson's crew (B-24H # 42-51100, nicknamed "Tiger," assigned to the 706th Bomb Squadron) was scheduled as part
of a raid on the railway facilities at Bingen, Germany. The weather was cloudy, forcing the lower squadrons to fly through cloud banks. The target was
reached and bombed through the clouds, with unknown results. On the withdrawal from target movement, no flak or fighters were seen. Two B-24s fell behind
the formation and disappeared into the clouds. Neither was seen again, and neither returned home...It is speculated that Dickson's B-24 collided with B-24H #
42-95105, named "She's Mine," piloted by John E. Ilstad. Missing Air Crew Report 11054 was issued.

The crew complement of "Tiger" is identified as:

2 Lt John B. Dickson p
2 Lt Lawrence A. Whitaker c-p
2 Lt Ernest Lavine nav
2 Lt Anthony P. Bonaiuto bomb/nose gun
Sgt John D. Sauran eng/tt gun
Sgt John R. Christman r/o

Julius Clark Kersey... "Family Tree"
Ms. Nancy... "Thank You". I looked at your "Family Tree" & it is amazing. You had me from the very beginning with: "I am adopted". As I looked, read, & saw I kept thinking of something I always tell my kids: "Blood Don't Make Family... Heart, Love, & Soul Makes Family". Your "Family Tree" is a perfect example & I am so very proud to know the "We" are just a small part of it. Not only does your "Tree" touch the heart but you did an awesome job on it, as well.
"Many Blessings... "T.D."

RE: Kersey family
Hello... Thank You for adding me to the Tree. As for my relation to Julius Clark Kersey, O.K., here it goes....His Daughter, Bessie Lou Kersey Denham, was my Great-GrandMother, Bessie Lou's Daughter, Nell Denham Montgomery, is my GrandMother. Nell's Son, Jesse Wayne Denham, is my Father. (You will not find Nell Denham Montgomery listed anywhere as a Parent to my Father. She gave him away at birth & everything we have, including his original Birth Certificate, lists Bessie Lou & Aubrey Russell Denham as his Parents. Therefore, my Daddy, Jesse Wayne Denham, has always been known as the youngest child of Bessie Lou & Aubrey Denham.) My Mother's name was: Martha Ann Youngblood Denham Nixon. She passed away in Oct. 2012. My Daddy is still alive... "Thank GOD".This is so exciting yet weird... "LOL". Never thought about "Kersey Family" in Texas. "Many Blessings..." "T.D."

RE: Julius Clark Kersey
Hello... Julius Clark Kersey was my Great-Great- GrandFather. His Daughter, Bessie Lou Kersey Denham, was my "Granny Denham". May I ask how you are related? I really don't know much about the generation past my "Granny Denham". If I am not wrong, I believe Julius Clark Kersey had 2 Wives. I know for sure 1 was my Great- Great- GrandMother, Martha Susan Gilbert Kersey... She was the Mother of my "Granny Denham". And, "NO"... I do not mind at all... Please feel free to share the picture. It's the only 1 my Family has of the "Julius Clark Family" & has been passed down through the generations. I am very proud to say that it was passed down to me after my Aunt Grace, (Alma Grace Kersey Harrell), died. Grace was also the Daughter to Julius Clark Kersey. It was very nice to hear from you. "Many Blessings"... "T.D."
