Any family member who views a close relative's file (parent, grandparent, great grandparent, or sibling) on findagrave and wishes to take control should contact me through the Edit tab on the findagrave memorial and I would be happy to transfer control to you. Explain your relationship in the request. Non-direct relatives (aunts, uncles, cousins, etc) are not required to be transferred. Keep in mind that the original contributor may also be related to the memorial and may not make the transfer. Bulk surname requests should not be made. We make every attempt to follow findagrave guidelines closely. |
Do not request a transfer without indicating relationship to person.

Hello, I am a descendant Michael Mackie Hoback, Sr. We have determined with our research that this individual (John W. Hoback) is not a child of Michael Mackie Hoback, Sr.
John Wesley Hoback / 21590585 is the son of Michael M Hoback, Sr.
Please remove the connection first chance you get. Thank you in advance for your help!.

No problem - Williams's 1st marriage to Susannah was a well kept family secret until we started looking up the family history. My mother's Aunt Garnet refused to believe that her grandfather had a first marriage - no amount of proof would convince her! Apparently they never told the grandchildren.

Oh, I can tell you about Susan Scott - actually she's Susannah Pierce Currey Scott, and she was William A.'s 1st wife. The were the parents of Mary Elizabeth Currey Clark. They were marr in Franklin Co. IN in 1847 and divorced in 1860. Susannah marr. 2nd to Croghan Scott in 1861; William A. marr. 2nd to Lucinda Stant. Both of the remarriages were also in Franklin Co. In. Susannah's father was Sollomon Pierce-I think her mother's name is in Findagrave but I don't have it right now. Lucinda was daughter of James Stant and Permelia Mumford Stant. William A. and Lucinda had 8 children. One of them, William, was my mother's grandfather.
If you need any more info please let me know.

Hi - you have the above individual, who is buried at Goar Cemetery as William Alexander Currey. May I ask where you got the middle name? He is my ancestor and I've never seen a middle name, just the middle initial.
Thanks for your help.

Thank you so much. this information is exactly what I needed!! Regards!
My name is Rick and I'm trying to find my sisters grave. My sisters name is Lilly Fay Arnold. She died as an infant just 2 months old. I'm trying to find out if she has a grave marker.
We live in Missouri and have never been to Windfall. If you have any information or can take a photo of her grave I would be very thankful.
|Winnette||So sorry, it was my mistake, not yours|
Talk about mistakes, I just made a big one. It was a former spouse of this lady that is in one cemetery and he another.
Please, Please, excuse this error. You were right and I was way wrong.
