Bio and Links
Bio Photo Greetings!

A Find-a-Graver since the site's origins as the hit for notable graves--not genealogy--I do "Famous" bios, and photograph/write about old gravestones, cemeteries, and the people interred within for the general reader. Will cheerfully answer queries, make corrections, add data to the "Family Links" section, and include other relevant info ASAP. Please no requests to insert multiple hyperlinks in the narrative part of the bio or to transfer pre-1900 burials. Find-a-Grave members can always include any grave listed on the website in an ancestral or other type of grouping by using the "Virtual Cemetery" feature. If you wish to quote me or use my photos, please contact me; attribution for written pieces is "by Nikita Barlow, for Findagrave", and for photographs, "Photo by Nikita Barlow". Thanks for your cooperation, and happy graving!

Frankie Silver
The duplicate on Frankie Silver is a relative of mine. I wish for you to add her parents. I will delete my website of Frankie if you will do that. I have her siblings listed on my website. Her # is 62953406. Sincerely, Roger 46801633

RE: Phebe Williams
Thank you. I couldn't bring her up under "Phebe Williams," and I had forgotten her husband's name.

Nikita-

I am just going through old emails and found yours which connected to two Find-A-Grave messages re: Phebe Williams.

I apologize for taking so long to answer you. When I enter Phebe Williams into my tree, nothing comes up. Was Williams her married name? I store all my married ladies by their maiden names. Do you know what her maiden name was? I don't remember it.

S.R.F. slow-poke!

RE: Capt. Henry Benson
Hey Nikita, I went back to the newspaper from 1862 and there was no specific info regarding the ship Capt. Benson was on when he died. I did read that Harrison's landing was the birth place of both Presidents William Henry and Benjamin Harrison. Good Luck JH

RE: Capt. Henry Benson
Hello Nikita, I just read about Harrison's Landing on Wikipedia, i first thought Capt. Benson was leaving NJ from around modern day Harrison, but i now see Harrison's Landing was an estate in Virginia, near the Battle of Malvern Hill. I will go back and see if the full text gives the ship name, if so i'll send it along.

RE: Rev. Leo Heinrichs
I can send the scans to you directly via personal e-mail as an attachment for the Find-a-grave folks, if you prefer. The photo of Fr. Leo is slightly grainy, as the pixels must have be larger than we are used to now. It is a nice photo of him. My g-grandmother moved to Denver for a few years, "to avoid the shame of having a divorced sister." She was a member of St. Elizabeth's Church, although I do not know if she was present at the time of the shooting. The memorial card was in with her old family photos from the turn of the century, including photos of her and her husband at Pike's Peak, 13 July 1906. It is a grainy photo scan as well. After Fr. Leo's murder, they returned to Indiana sometime before 1910.
