Hi ... you posted "MAYFLOWER DESCENDANT" on my brother's memorial ... Find A Grave Memorial #96856865 ... can you elaborate? I am trying to trace our family on ancestry, but haven't seen any mention of the Mayflower yet. Thanks for any help. ~Marcia Haworth

Daniel Sprenkel - Sprenkle
Thanks for your suggestion re duplicates for Daniel Sprenkel and Daniel Sprenkle. Mistakes like this are common due to the variation in spellings. It gets even harder with Sprinkle and Sprankle.

FYI the Daniel Sprenkle, Find A Grave# 88901562 and Anna Mumma Sprenkle Find A Grave# 93772271 are the newer versions and, in this instance, I prefer to keep my older versions to match the headstones. Keep up the good work!
Thanks

RE: John Hume
Hi Joy! I just got my DNA results back.I'm fishing through 48 pages and I'm only on page 2! I think I need a tutor.Haha I'm going through them and starring the one that might have a connection. I'll go back later and research them. My husband just sent his sample off to Ancestry.
Would you like to switch to email, so we don't tie up find a grave? godspeedj146@yahoo.com

John Hume

Joy, you just put a "direct ancestor tree" on John Hume's memorial #138016002. I am his 5th great granddaughter. So, are we related? My line is his son Elzaphan, George W., John sleet, then Mattie Lee Hume. You can email me atgodspeedj146@yahoo.com.
Hope to hear from you,

Jane

RE: We are related, but how??
I started going back looking at my dad's obituary seen a link grad father's name highlighted so on so forth following the bread crumbs looking at family headstone pics and rembering stories and also having the family bible,it's about 8 inches thick .containing birth certificate and death certificates or prayer cards and graduation and marriage certificate s too from those befor us. Started out with my dad charles floyd chase he is buried in veterans cemetery in Onondaga county syracuse ny.
