Gould-Wilcox? I was doing some research on people mentioned in some papers written by my grandfather Harry Davidson of Saratoga. I saw your note on E L Gould-asking who he was. Harry wrote that he was the town Marshall of Saratoga-and if Charles Wilcox is your ancestor-Harry mentions him as well! Would be happy to share if interested.
Old Willimantic Cemetery Windham Connecticut Hi, I went to this cemetery yesterday and fulfilled your PR for Ulysses Young d 1885. He is on the same obelisk as Louise and Mary Louise Allender and his daughter Mary Young d 1850...will post them all shortly.
RE: Re: Memorial #95118338 The death certificate for Mary Ellen Johnstone, recorded in Book 11, Page 127 in Calaveras Co., CA, names her father as James Dougherty and her mother as Agnes Dougherty. I would guess that her son was the person who provided the information for the death certificate. Would you have any idea of why it names James Dougherty as her father? I found this: 1900 census Liberty, Siskiyou Co. CA: Joseph Finley 35, Agnes Finley 35 married 5 years, Mary Ellen Herd 9, Elmer Herd 1. This seems to match the last name of Herd/Hurd and makes it appear that Agnes Finley probably had been married twice.
