I enjoy helping people by providing them photos of relatives and friends grave sites. Turning a wish into a fulfilled dream.|
Almost all memorials I create are not family members, and I am willing to transfer them to other members.
Do not use the photos I take anywhere else, including within Find A Grave, without permission. I retain the copyright to all of my photos.

Thank you very much for taking photographs of the burial locations of the Sligting Family.
|Annie Gegan||Albert Schirrmacher|
Thank you so very much for posting the photograph of Albert's grave site at Forest Home, Ace! I have shared the picture with my mother, his niece, who is almost 90. Albert died a year after the family immigrated from Berlin of tuberculosis, so I think they were not financially able to buy him a marker at the time. And when they did have money, people had moved on with life. Albert's brothers both gave their sons the name "Albert" as middle names, so that was their memorial to him. Another great uncle of mine, Otto Rittmeyer, died in the 1918 flu epidemic, and no one bought him a marker, either. Otto died in San Francisco and is buried in Colma, CA - not far from where I live now. Otto came from Chicago to SF to make candy in April 1906, just in time for the earthquake! Poor Otto... Poor Albert... They were both kind of forgotten as far as their graves went. I have been talking to my mom about getting Otto a marker, and now we will also look into one for Albert.
