RE: Pukett Cemetery
Oh Joel! I can't tell you how to get there! I was with my cousin Robin Wheeler when we went and she was driving! She lives in Oak Hill but is on vacation this week and I promised not to bother her! Let me do some looking around and see if I can find anything. Are you planning a visit soon? How are you related to the Puckett's?

RE: Burns Cemetery
Hi, No I had no problems find the Burns Cemetery. I stopped by in the late afternoon and wished I had been able to go earlier in the day so that some of the stones weren't backlit. The best pics were when the clouds blocked the sun. It was pretty up there!

His obit in the Beckley paper said he "was to be buried at Wallace Memorial," but if you took the photo at EOT, then I think your memorial should stand. Any doubt about where you took the pic?

RE: Lewis Critchley Cemetery

It is a private family cemetery for my mother-in-law's family. It is on private property, currently owned and occupied by her cousin. My father-in-law, her parents, many aunts and uncles, stillborn babies, etc. are buried there.

On one of our trips back to West Virginia, we went to visit my father-in-law's grave, and pay respects to my husband's grandparents and other family members, so I decided to document those there.

Thank you for your inquiry. Are we related somehow? If so, please let me know, so we can share information. Contact me via the contact link, since I'm only now seeing your post, and it's been almost three months.

I am the Great-Granddaughter of Robert H. and Rebecca Jane Hedrick Osborne. I just found this out on Monday, May 18, 2015. I never knew much about my father's family. I am so happy that I found some information over the internet. I hope to hear from you soon.

RE: Somerset Cemetery (Meadow Bluff)

I'm so happy you were able to find your 2x great-grand Parents, John and Mary Houchins.

We seemed to be related at least by marriage.
My 2nd great aunt Nancy Ann Bennett married John & Mary's son Charles :)

Did you ever make it to Somerset Cemetery?

RE: Lewis Critchley Cemetery

It is my husband's grandmother's family cemetery. The property is still in the family. His grandmother is Ola Verzine Lewis Parker Gentry Ayers. His father is Homer Allen. Critchley's are cousins. His family is huge. His mother is still living, but was born an Ayers. So, we went to visit his father's grave one day and I documented it all, put it online and filled in pieces of the family tree, like the Baby Ayers. His mother didn't know she had baby sisters who died. I did further research online in the death records to confirm it.

If we are related in some way, please let me know and I will share what I know. There is a family tree online that is completely wrong. It has Ola dying in a completely different state, for example.
