Joel-I saw a "flower" left behind for your cousins, William R and Boise A Mason. Do you know of Boise's wife Rosa Probert?
Please respond to me at
Thanks in advance, Lisa

RE: Anderson Cemetery
RE: Anderson Cemetery in Fayette County West Virginia

Hi Joel, as of 2014 I had documented every stone that I could read. I don't think there were more than three or four stones that I oouldn't read, but I could be mistaken. I haven't taken the time to try to find out if anyone has a list of who is buried there.

carry a 2x2 piece of sheet metal
and that can be held at acute angle to grave and light it up, highlighting a shadow on letters, when you are in backlighting conditions as you showed me today.
my canon pocket camera has grid overlay to help me get the grave face square before I shoot pic.

I fixed your photo a bit, but had no email address to send it to, so posted it.

See if you like the improvements.

Tincher Cemetery
Happy New Year Joel. No, I haven't been to Tincher Cemetery before. I'm not sure where Crag Road is. I know where the Big Sewell Valley Baptist Church on Rt 60, near Loops Road is outside of Rainelle. Is that the same church you are referring to? Can you tell me how to get to the cemetery? I'll certainly check it out the next time I'm down there and the weather is decent. Thank you for pointing it out.

Tim Puckett
Jacob Puckett and Jesse Osborne
Hi Joel - I noticed you had a response on Jean Stork's site and you mentioned Jesse Osborne as being born in 1828. If you go to the "Annals of Tazewell County - 1800 to 1922 - there is a Jesse Osborne living next to a Jacob Puckett and a Jno Puckett. There are so many Jacob Puckett's running around that I am trying to figure out this one and who is parents may be. Is this Jesse Osborne the one born in 1828?
