Louris J Osborne
Hi. I am trying to make a connection - i have the obits for Louris and his brother Edgar. they both state the father is james osborne. one says their mother is mary the other tessie bare osborne. reading the obits i believe mary and tessie are the same person and its possible according to a marriage record her name is Letitia. but, anyway, what i really want to know is do you know the parents of james? thanks, jeanne

Burns Cemetery on Keiffer
Hey Joel - it's me again. After I had posted the other message I noticed the one on Burns Cemetery on Keiffer Rd. I also have some relatives there.

I live in Seattle but still have a lot of family around there. In May I am going to Ohio to visit my 3 girls and I have planned extra time to go to WV to visit cemeteries. Burns Cemetery on Keiffer Rd is on my list. Will try to take a lot of pictures while there. Are there any that you are looking for?

RE: William Harvey Burns
It sounds like we are around the 4th generation of cousins. Ginny Osborne-Fox-Brown is my 3rd Great Grandmother. I try to make sure that is where they are when I mark it as being there. I was at Burns Family Cemetery in Sept and really wanted a picture of the headstone but it didn't exist but there are a lot of unmarked plots around all the other headstones. So getting the death certificate is usually my next step to make sure I am correct. Nice to meet you cousin hope to stay in touch.

RE: West Virginia Photographs
Id be happy to check out the Burns Cemetery the next time I am in that area. I probably wont be visiting again until June or July. I have family throughout Fayette and Greenbrier counties, which is why I've been documenting cemeteries there. I see there are no directions on Find A Grave. Do you remember how to find it?

RE: William Harvey Burns
Hello - So my WV death certificate has the same but my family says he's there where his father is also. Have you found another gave site for him? Are you related to the Burns Family? William Harvey is my 2nd Great Grandfather.
Would love to hear from you and if you know he's somewhere else I will gladly remove and/or change the memorial to where he is.

thank you Linda

FRITZ WITTE
SO SORRY YOU MADE THE EFFORT WITH NO RESULTS. I KNOW THE TIME IT TAKES FOR THESE SEARCHES AND I APPRECIATE IT. THE LAST TIME I WAS IN MD AT THE CEMETERY THERE WAS A MARKER THERE BUT I THINK THE DATES WERE WRONG. UPON ENTERING THE CEMETERY, I WENT UP TO THE 2ND DRIVEWAY, MADE A RIGHT AND WENT UP MAYBE A CAR LENGTH AND A HALF AND IT WAS THERE ON THE RIGHT. MY GREAT GRANDMOTHER AT ONE TIME HAD A LARGE FLOWER BUSH THERE BUT ALL FLOWERS LIKE THAT HAD TO BE REMOVED. I THINK THE NAME ON THE MARKER MIGHT BE FREDERICK WITTE, NOT SURE. BUT DON'T WORRY ABOUT IT. I APPRECIATE YOUR EFFORTS GREATLY.
