The day I stop searching for my Ancestors will be the day someone starts searching for me.|
May God let me live long enough to leave a very, very large trail for them to find.
I want to give special thanks to "My Dear Friend", Liz for helping me put down the bread crumbs for my family to follow and to Jim for bringing life back to my old family photos.

Hi Cheryl. You're very welcome. I found the obit in the Delaware County Newspaper Archive at http://delawarecolib.newspaperarchive.com/. It covers 1876 to 1977 for the Chester Times and Delaware County Times and some other local papers. It's free to register, and that gives you more options on researching and saving items. Enjoy.

Hello Cheryl. There are no other Arscotts in Chester Rural. However, I checked the Lawn Croft burial listings and found George and Sarah there. I created memorials for them, #150722916 and 150722956. They are in unmarked graves. I posted a photo on each memorial showing the location. If you would like me to transfer them to you please let me know.

I continue to move through the Parkwood Cemetery population of over 9,700 slowly, but surely and finding more Somers. Instead of sending you a message every time I find a new Somers, maybe check under Somers in Parkville Cemetery and Mausoleum periodically throughout the remainder of the summer. Then I won't have to bother you every time I find a new one.

I would like to know the name of the man in the picture on your profile. Thanks

I am currently try to fulfill photo requests for Parkwood Cemetery and Mausoleum, saw another Somers, and remembered your request for all Somers in Gardens of Faith, so I took a photo of the marker and added memorial pages for the couple just in case you were interested. Their names are John R. (1918-2008) and Hazel I. (1920-2005) Somers.

I'm not far from Holly Hill. In fact, they're one of the three cemeteries I've "adopted" near me to fulfill photo requests. However, I already fulfilled all of the photo requests for the past year last week because they're the only ones who are willing to work with me to locate gravestones. I will be going back towards the end of the summer to do the requests that come in over the summer if you're willing to wait that long. Just add people you want done to their photo request page and I promise I'll get to them by the end of the summer.
