I'm looking for the parents of Henry Aldrich who lost his life in battle at Antietam in September 1862.|
He entered the service from Bristol, Connecticut where he lived with his wife, Sarah (Peck) Aldrich and their three young children.
Mr. Aldrich is believed to have been born in Worcester, Massachusetts around 1821. He has been mistaken for Henry Alanson Aldrich who died in 1906.
Henry Aldrich's oldest son, John W. Aldrich also served in the Civil War, and I'm trying to learn who his mother was.
Thank you in advance for any advice or help you may have to offer.

You sent me an edit indicating that Simon Lake is not the father of Walter Lake, but you designate no one else. Do you have some evidence of this? As I did not set up the memorial I do not know these folks.

Thank you so much for the photo of Judithís marker. She is my grandchildrenís paternal grandmother and they live in Colorado and would never have the opportunity to see their grandmotherís resting place outside of your kindness.
