My name is Carol and have lived in Georgia all my life. Residing in N.E. Atlanta for many years and grew up in Hapeville, Georgia.|
My Dad began this amazing journey in finding our heritage. While on this journey we had discovered so many relatives and friends.

Most of these memorials are based on personal research from my family history (birth, death, marriage, military & other records). Other information was taken from grave markers or obituaries that I've discovered over the years. Cannot guarantee the accuracy of all these memorials, but believe most of them to be correct.
Will be glad to make memorial transfers upon request that is if related. Would very much like to hear from you and should you have any additional information and if there are any corrections to be made, please let me know.

Will you please remove the photo you added of her death certificate. You did not trim it to remove all the white. I have added a copy of the death certificate myself that passes the Find A Grave guidelines.
Thank you for your help.

|Gary Yawn||RE: Sterling Bass, III (Memorial # 74750685)|
Yes, I have Sterling and Elizabeth Dupree as his grandparents with a Sterling inbetween and a Sterling(1884) as a son.

Have you ever discovered where he is buried? I found a copy of his wife's death certificate on Georgia's Virtual Vault and it lists her place of burial as Fort Valley Georgia in 1927, but doesn't list a cemetery. I don't know if they're buried together or not, and I haven't found a memorial for either on Find A Grave. I have found him in the 1930 US Census, but nothing after that.
Do you have a print out you can share on the early Tyler. i keep getting lost in the weeds. email@example.com.

Hi Carol, I'm hitting a brick wall with this William H LeSueur. I found him in Marine Corps muster rolls but only up to 1923, they all state he enlisted Oct 10, 1920. I can only find a Willie LeSueur,age 7yrs, in the 1910 Census with W.F. and Fannie LeSueur in Tift Co, GA. Take a look at William Fletcher LeSueur's memorial on Find A Grave,33024261, that you created. Do you think he's the William Hunter LeSueur you mention on that memorial?? If he was not discharged from the Marines until 1943 that may explain why I can't find him in other census. Let me know what you think. I'll keep searching. Maggie

I will try to get up to the Marshallville Cemetery sometime and get some photos. It is only 30 miles from here.

Thank you for adding him on findagrave. corrections: He was 2nd Lieutenant in the 40th AL infantry. Robert Kelly Simmons was a son of RTM and his 3rd wife Mary Elizabeth (Tartt) Simmons. http://www.findagrave.com/cgi-bin/fg.cgi?page=gr&GSln=simmons&GSiman=1&GScid=60635&GRid=48354704&
You'll find his letters home here http://psysim.www7.50megs.com/rtmsimcsa1.html If you follow the Simmonsport link at the bottom of the previous link you'll find a link to his online tree. RTM and his second wife Mary Catherine "Molly"(Boyd) Simmons are my 2gr-grandparents. I have recently acquired more of his letters to scan and transcribe for Armond to then add to the website and also a picture of him and "Molly". Identified by the 2nd Lieutenant bars on his collar. Armond is a son of Robert Kelly Simmons son of RTM Simmon and Mary Elizabeth (Tartt)
Thanks again for adding him!

I am trying to fill in some blanks on my tree, and I was wondering if you have in your records details on William Hunt being born in Macon, Bibb, Georgia. His mother (Lucinda Kirk Hunt) died in Milledgeville, Baldwin, Georgia in 1836.
Some "trees" out there have Macon County, Georgia but your place of Macon, Bibb makes more sense. I just thought you may have something that puts the Hunts in Macon in 1830. Thanks for the wealth of information you have gathered on your family. I think we have already discussed before we are 3rd cousins through Thomas Goodwin Hunt and Mary Elizabeth Simmons.

Small world I just left you a message about Mary Lou Mays Dawson of Pulaski County. In looking at the Hunt Cemetery info, I came across William G. Hunt. My grandmother actually has a picture of him and his wife. She had always told me that he was once the sheriff of Pulaski Co. at one time which you matched the story in your bio. I am a decendent on my maternal grandmother's side of the family.
