Like a tiny seed|
That fell to earth.
When no one cared
Or knew it's worth.
Through wind and rain
Sleet and snow.
It sprouted roots.
And began to grow.
Now Whoever thought
That you and me.
Would be one branch
Of that mighty tree.

My brother-in-law Ronald Eugene Dempsey passed away August 18th. 2016. If you have a moment please visit his memorial. Ronnie was a wonderful person with a heart of gold. He will be missed by many.
WELL HERE WE GO AGAIN...I HAVE LOST TWO MORE OF MY MEMORIAL IN THE PAST FEW DAYS. DOSEN'T SEEM FAIR AFTER ALL THE WORK I'VE PUT INTO THEM AND THEY ARE MY FAMILY, THAT THEY ARE GIVEN TO SOMEONE ELSE..I HOPE HOWEVER GOT THEM ARE HAPPY!
THEY ARE NOT REALLY GONE.
UNTIL WE STOP THINKING ABOUT THEM...
I DON'T KNOW WHAT IS GOING ON WITH MY MEMORIALS BUT I HAVE LOST A LOT OF THEM IN THE PAST FEW MONTHS, MY HOWARD MEMORIALS. LAST WEEK I HAD 1,352 NOW I HAVE 1,350 SO NOW I'VE LOST 2 MORE. OVER 90% OF MY MEMORIALS ARE MY ANCESTORS, FAMILY AND FRIENDS. I HAVE WORKED HARD ON THESE FOR MANY YEARS SO FAMILY MEMBERS WILL BE ABLE TO TRACE THEIR ANCESTORS, PLUS I HAVE TRIED TO HELP OTHERS TO THE POINT OF LONG PHONE CONVERSATIONS WITH THEM. I DO NOT ASK ANYONE TO TRANSFER ANY OF THEIR MEMORIAL TO ME, THEY MADE THEM AN I THINK THEY DESERVE TO KEEP THEM. I DO NOT GO AROUND AND COLLECT MEMORIALS FROM OTHERS, IF SOMEONE ALREADY POSTED A FAMILY MEMBER OF MINE AND POSTED IT FIRST THEY SHOULD KEEP IT. I HAVE HAD A LOT OF DUPLICATES OF MY MEMORIALS, SOME WERE GIVEN TO THE OTHER PERSON OR PERSONS WHO JUST POSTED LAST YEARS OR SOONER, WHEN MINE WAS POSTED 7 0R 8 YEARS AGO.
***DO NOT TAKE MY PERSONAL PHOTOS OF MY FAMILY AND PLACE THEM ON ANCESTRY OR ANY OTHER WEBSITES***

Thanks for the pic of Andrew, Willie, and the woman whom I assume is Andrew's mother and dad. Do you have a pic of Elizabeth? I have never seen her pics before. Have you had your DNA tested and if so by Who? Sharon Estep
|pearl elam||pics of Andrew|
Thanks sooooo much for the pics you sent I have never seen a pic of the young Willie just remember seeing him 1x before he died. That one pic of dad and Henry (I was unable to open) I could not send a reply via that email so this is the only way I can contact you. Thanks again I appreciate it so much . Sharon E Estep

Thanks Sherry for your response I would like to see the pics you mentioned, my Aunt came to live with us after Andrew was killed she was a role model then and I looked up to her and grasped every word she said so I am interested in anything you may be able to share with me. So was Mary Jane Ward your great grandmother? My mom had many memories of her and Ballard, mom lived on South Side( or I remember it called Hen Cliff) for 23 yrs until she got married and moved to Magoffin county.
I had always been told that my great grandfather William (Willie) Hensley that Married Elizabeth Howard was not buried at the mouth of coon creek where she is buried. My Aunt Dorothy said she went to the grave side after his funeral and it was in the cemetery on South side in Johnson County, I noticed you have him listed in the same cemetery as Elizabeth (Howard Cemetery)
you didn't post a pic of a monument and Elizabeth did have one so I was wondering if your Willie is a different person and not my great grandfather. Thanks again for all the hard work you have done I feel like a whole person now that I know more about my family. Sharon Elam Estep. firstname.lastname@example.org
My husband, Walter,found the grave of Henry "Hunting Shirt" Sizemore in 2015. We posted all the information on findagrave at that time. Unfortunately we did not see your earlier posting, which says that his burial place is unknown. Would you consider withdrawing your posting of him because our information is more complete? Someone has left a message on our posting that we should withdraw it because yours was posted first. My husband descends from two of Henry's brothers, and he has first cousins who descend from Henry. We have researched Henry's family for at least 20 years, and hunted for his grave all that time. Last year my husband was finally successful.

Hi Sherry, I am a newby and appreciate the work you have done just viewed your post regarding your cousin Andrew, he was married to my Aunt Mable, I remember visiting my grandmother's house in paintsville and seeing a life -size photo of Andrew in his uniform hanging in the bedroom, it stayed there until my grandparents had to sell their home and move into a mobile home near my mother's home, I think Aunt Mable still has that photo last time I asked her. My aunt said he didn't have any family left. I know you have just lost a son and I am so sorry maybe you will feel like contacting me someday regarding this photo. If you are related to the Howards in Magoffin county maybe we share a common ancestor. My maternal great grandmother was Elizabeth Howard and married Willie Hensley they resided in Johnson county, my mother said she was buried in the cemetery located at the mouth of coon creek last I heard it was grown up is that correct? Willie was buried on a cemetery located on Hen Cliff at the top of a steep hill. I would appreciate any info you may have regarding these two cemeteries. Sharon Rose Elam Estep. Ashland Ky.

|Lois Justice||RE: Aggie Sizemore|
I was wondering about the photo Mary Montgomery at the grave of Aggie and Silas Montgomery. Aggie and Silas are my great X 4 grandparents. Jahaza Minix had Virgie who had my grandmother Helen. I was wondering where the photos came from and if I would be able to get a copy and perhaps get in contact with you? I am working on our family tree. I have been blessed to get in contact with someone who has really helped me with information. I just love putting faces to the names as well. Also, on Hunting Shirt Sizemore, could I get a copy of that picture? My email is email@example.com. Feel free to email me anytime. I don't have many photos on that side of our family but I have one of Brice Minix and Jahaza Montgomery Minix. It's was my grandmother's photo and my dad had a copy made of it. I attached it to her memorial a year or so ago. Thanks for any and all help.
