I live in Central Ohio with my husband. I'm a proud U.S. Navy veteran, and a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution.|
Please feel free to use any photo of gravestones that I've posted for your family trees or research...no credit needed!!
Preserving a very old stone on a photo is a blessed thing. I always think of the ancestors in the future that will stumble onto this site and find that stone, that may be worn away by weather or destroyed by an evil vandal now, but has been preserved for them with photography here forever.
I'd really appreciate it if you'd visit my parents, Reginald and Dora Huffman's memorial pages and leave a flower for them. God bless you in advance for doing this!!
THIS IS A CEMETERY
Lives are commemorated
Deaths are recorded
Families are reunited
Memories are made tangible and
Love is undisguised
This is a cemetery.
Communities accord respect
Families bestow reverence
Historians seek information and
Our heritage is thereby enriched.
Testimonies of devotion, pride and warmth are carved in stone to pay warm tribute to accomplishments and to the life, not the death, of a loved one. The cemetery is homeland for memorials that are a sustaining source of comfort to the living.
A cemetery is a history of a people, a perpetual record of yesterday and a sanctuary of peace and quiet today.
A cemetery exists because every life is worth loving and remembering...always.

Thank you so much for the transfers and for all your help and kindness.
|Dana Fox Mariner||My Ancestors|
Thank goodness for you & the wonderful volunteers for your selfless volunteerism. Without you, those of us who don't live there anymore may never be able to find our ancestors!
|Dana Fox Mariner||Zwingley Cemetary|
Is this cemetary near Amanda? There is no info about it on their cemetary page.
|Dana Fox Mariner||Mary Peters|
Linda, I guarantee they have her picture because I got it out of booklet in the local library years ago before genealogy walked out the door there.
|Dana Fox Mariner||RE: Ruth Stevenson|
Thanks Linda! Will do in the next few months.
|Dana Fox Mariner||Ruth Stevenson|
Ruth Stevenson is my 4x Great-grandmother. I would love to go to this cemetary with you sometime. I will probably be up in the spring & summer this year as my Dad is in a nursing home there. Thank you Linda. Dana Fox Mariner
|M Wood||Thank you for photographing in Bethel Cemetery|
Thank you so much for posting the many photos you took in Bethel Cemetery in Bremen--a lot of those graves are for people in my husband's Larimer/Work family tree. I really appreciate being able to see their graves and the calculated relationships. I've posted virtual flowers for your parents in gratitude for your kindness!

Thank you so much for the transfer of Emily and for creating/maintaining her memorial. No worries...I totally understand. I have two lab pups myself. Our Vandal is a year and a half old and his playmate Lily is almost 6 months. They're definitely a handful! lol ;) Hope you and yours have a wonderful Christmas as well.

Hi - I'd be glad to leave flowers on the memorials for your parents, but I don't see where you've indicated who they were. Sharon
|Cinda Thomas||RE: Old Olive Branch Cemetery|
Linda, thank you for responding so quickly!! I grew up in Bremen and am going back for a 3 week visit next week. With your help I can now find the cemetery and yes, I will take a picture of A. Westenbarger's tombstone.
