Please look at my memorial #148338576. Is this your Elizabeth Price? If so, I'll happily transfer it or do as you wish to place her where she belongs

Samuel R Blacka Sr
Hi Charles, I was working on my family tree and came across your find a grave. I have the same information on Samuel Blacka. I was hoping you could shed some light on the wife name listed in the news paper Catherine "Lowe" do you think this was a miss print and should read Catherine Hardin ?
My 2x great grandfather was Joseph H Blacka the husband of Rose McCoy father of Thurman H Blacka, Stewart Blacka, Nellie Rose Blacka Roach and Catherine Blacka Baker Bamford. Catherine was born to Joseph's and his second wife Annie Ward Wolfe Blacka. I'm still looking for the obit for Joseph H Blacka born 1863 died 1923 Fayette Co.Belle Vernon Pennsylvania & Wife Rose McCoy Blacka died 1891 after giving birth to Nellie. I'm not have much luck find their obit's if you should run across them would you please let me know. I'm have another name dilemma with Joseph's mother Sara Brown or Sara Cornell.. The story of my life HA! Thank you for your hard work gathering all this information its such a great help for those of us searching. Barb

Susie Jane Lowry
aka: Susie Jane Buckalew. I need your advice. Working with Ancestry on this family history, I noticed on the obituary and also on the Pennsylvania Death Certificate that her parents are not mentioned. Also her son William Dean Lowry who died on the 25 Jan 1942 (SEE:Pennsylvania Death Certificate)his parents are listed as James I Lowry and Susie Jane Albright. Do you have or know of any documentation that Susie Jane Lowry's maiden name was Buckalew or was it Albright. If you can help me solve this difference, I would be most appreciative. Mary

Reference Jacob Moyer that died in Pittsburgh, PA July 13, 1924. WOULD ya be so kind as to send to our family a copy of his Pennsylvania Death Certificate? Our email address is
Margaret Moyer that died Aprl 28, 1899 was the wife of Harrison Moyer per Bedford Gazette N/P article published on Page 1, Column 1 January 19, 1900 as Harrison Moyer Administered the estate of his wife Margaret that died April 28, 1899. Also, Margaret Moyer's death notice was published on Pg 1 in Col 1 of the Bedford Gazette N/P dated January 29, 1900 (1899 Bedford County, PA DEATH ROLL.

We are the ANCESTORS OF ALBERT W. LAPE MARRIED to Della Moyer, daughter of Harrison & Margaret Moyer. It's not too much of a consequence that Margaret Moyer had been married twice (John Moyer & Harrison Moyer) or perhaps John Harrison Moyer was always her husband except that Harrison died after 1924. Harrison Moyer sold to lots odf land in Hyndman, Bedford County, PA in 1924 for $444.00 and thereaftyer purchased two other lots for less money. Haven't as yet discovered his date of birth and death.

Any assistance your family can offer to assist in or ancestory discovery wojuld be very much appreciated.

Thank you prayerfully

Elizabeth Strickler
Elizabeth Strickler Find A Grave Memorial# 119969184

"Elizabeth died aged 66 years. Her tombstone gives her death as 17 September 1832. Most say she died in 1823"

Birth May 11, 1776 Death Sep. 17, 1832

The problem is Charles that a birth date of 1776 and a death date of 1832 her age would be 56.

A death date of 1823 would make her age 47. Now either her age is wrong or her birthdate is wrong.

A birthdate off 1766 would make her age 66 in 1832 and a birthdate of 1757 would also make her 66.

I looked at the photo of James's marker and I pretty sure if there was a Burnworth next too him, I would have snapped it also. When I make it back to Beverly Hills I will check it out. The weather is getting cold and snowy now, so it may be awhile.
