I've always enjoyed going through cemeteries and have since I was a young lad. It's one of my many interests. Obviously, genealogy is one of them along with photography, motorsports (I raced inboard hydroplanes from 1976-2003), baseball, acting in local plays, traveling to Europe, and watching movies (I appeared in the film "Madison" playing the governor of Indiana in 2005). I currently live in Kentucky and teach at a high school in Indiana along with being the mayor in the town where I live and being active in my church. With the memorials I have set up, if you find any mistakes, please let me know so I can get them corrected. I'm not perfect, but I strive for perfection in all that I try to do on Find A Grave.|

|kat woodfill-childress||Carl Melvin Woodfill's memorial|
Hello. I wanted to message you about Carl Melvin Woodfill's memorial on here. He's my grandfather. You have the following: "He is survived by his wife, Mary America Ashby Woodfill; three daughters, Mary Margaret Dean of Madison, Judy E. Bellamy of Deputy and Cindy L. Cole of Madison; four sons, Michael Woodfill, Carl D. Woodfill, Dennis K. Woodfill and Nathan Smith" most likely copied from the obituary.
Nathan Smith is Carl Melvin Woodfill's grandson, not his son. Nathan Smith is the eldest son of Cindy L Cole and Howard Joseph Smith Sr. my grandmother Mary America (Ashby) Woodfill (Carl's wife) wanted him listed as a son for some reason. My grandfather, however, did not, and neither did any one of his children. I just wanted to let you know in case you wanted to fix it :)
|Lisa Gritton Klingenfus||correction|
Forgive the confusion below, the most recent was the correct one. Etha's father was EDWARD MCFATRIDGE SANFORD.....not Edgar McFatridge. I have Etha's mother's family Bible with the correct information.
|Lisa Gritton Klingenfus||change of name|
Etha Lillard Sanford Gritton was my grandmother. Her father was Edgar McFatridge SANFORD and her mother was Tina (Tiny) Trisler SANFORD. Her siblings were Myrtle Sanford Woods, Edwin Sanford, Taylor Sanford, Virgil Sanford, Willard Sanford.
In the memorial on here, you have her father listed as Edgar McFatridge.....we need to add SANFORD.
Etha and William Gritton had 4 children. One was either stillborn or miscarried, not sure which. The other children were Adeline Gritton Lyen, Lucille Gritton Sanders, and my dad, William Maxwell Gritton, Jr.

Is there any way to transfer ownership of a memorial? I would like to have Robert Eugene Chilton that you manage. He was my grandfather. Would you mind?
