Thanks for the heads-up. I'm well aware of Find A Grave duplicate memorial guidelines, which I allude to in my bio. Once the date of death is corrected on the original, I'll delete my memorial. It's unfortunate that hundreds of early bulk uploads by that member contained typos, which resulted in newer memorials being created with correct data.

John Beckham at Lutts Pinhook Cemetery - Wayne Co. Tennessee
I have a photo of one John Cliffor Beckham stone at Lutts.
His death date is 2014.
I have looked for a John Beckham before. There is a John Beckham listed in row 24 where this John Beckham is buried - no other info given. I have the page from the Wayne Co. Cemeteries listing that verifies this - bur yo have no e-mail or birth or death dates for John Beckham listed.
Maybe some more info would help.
Best Wishes.

Sorry - didn't mean to blow off your question! I don't think that they are are duplicates. Although I couldn't find an obit to verify don't delete your memorial.

Hi there-

Can I repeat again how much I loathe RC's online DB?

So many misspellings and errors! Argh!

I fulfilled a photo request on a lot in RC yesterday that had a person that was listed as "Combs" in the DB and when I found the obit the name was actually "Coombe".

Because of all the errors in the DB, most of the time I do try to find an obit or other source to verify the name before making a memorial at RC.

I didn't get to all your requests yesterday, apologies, I will return!

Thanks for all your work!

RE: Lear Cemetery, Salter Hill, Samuel Lear #9746365
I figured out that the Lear Cemetery is in Epsom, and have asked for the cemetery info to be updated. I'm not sure if I'll be over that direction anytime soon, but if I am, I'll bring my camera. In the meantime, I used Epsom town history records to add a few more names to the cemetery.

Thanks for calling!

I went to RC today and could only get you one picture - 2 folks in section 15A - before the sky opened up upon me.

Just wanted to alert you to the upload...

RE: Rock Creek, DC
Quick question - you said that you were workig with Sheila B for photo requests, yes?

I sent her a few messages about the outstanding requests for the Lamson family a while back - pretty much saying that these requests would be near to impossible to fill without a location. They aren't listed in the RC online database - so I would need someone to call RC and find the location.

Same deal with the request for Mary Beckham.

I try and keep a low profile at RC so I can continue to take photos and F-A-G volunteers don't get banned - as has happened at other cemeteries.

If the weather holds I will try to go to Rock Creek this weekend.

All my best!
